Now I know that the Warzone game mode is not available in forge or customs, but will the maps be? Can anyone shed some more light on this for me?
I’m afraid not, my friend. The only way to access these maps is by playing Warzone online.
I’m sure those maps will be released for use later, especially when Big Team comes out, but I could always be wrong.

To the best of our knowledge, these maps are Warzone-exclusive.
You can’t do any thing with the warzone maps yet maybe next Halo
The easiest way to understand why Warzone maps are not in forge is to think about all the AI cycles that occur during the game. It takes a couple of months for professional developers to create that experience so for the average player to change something in game would cause far too many errors to start occurring before something eventually breaks or goes wrong.
As far as we understand no. This is due to the AI.
However I find that to be an odd reason when there is a warzone variant coming at launch that plays pretty much like invasion. But no AI.
So if they can remove the AI and presumably re use the same maps. Why can’t we forge on them?
Regardless 343 is making maps based on the game type. So warzone maps will only be able to do warzone. BTB will have it’s own maps and so on.
