Warzone low reward

I just played a full 30 minutes Warzone game, guess how much Req points it awarded me without any boost, 1845 Req points, for 30 minutes, wow

Some people play Warzone for fun.

I also played for fun but considering the fact that Warzone Assault gives you 800-1300 req points without boost in more or less 10 minutes, getting 1845 req points from aa full 30 minutes Warzone is very underwhelming

Were you using any RP boosts? That’ll bump up the payout.

Nope I depleted them all but I know with boosts it bumps the payout a lot. The reward should still be decent without any boost

Unfortunately, it’s not always like that. Playing without any boosts will result in underwhelming payouts, especially during Firefight.

Reread the original post for that info.

OP, it could be (and this is just me spitballing) that RP payouts with time don’t follow a linear trend. If they did, it could be possible to exploit by people in a game just letting the timer go for long as possible for increased RP payouts. It could be that it follows a logarithmic trend and plateaus after a certain amount of time.
Another thing to consider could be your performance in the game. If you didn’t get many kills, maybe you got less a payout than those at the top of the chart. Also whether your team won or lost could be a factor.

Warzone has the least pay out for RP since the matches can go for quite a while normally 20 mins or longer. Mythic Warzone Firefight has the most pay outs but it’s only available on the weekends. If you finish all 5 rounds you will get around 5000 RP for a 20 minute game. Legendary Firefight pays a bit less with about 3000 RP for around 20 mins. Heroic firefight pays around 2000 but the games are shorter usually around 15 mins. Warzone Assault is generally a good way to get RP since you normally get around 1300 for an average of about 9 min games but the problem is the search times are very long. Just to be clear I’m talking about gaining RP without using a boost. Also to note your performance doesn’t usually impact your rewards a whole lot might give you an extra couple hundred at most. The longer the game goes the worse the rewards get soo finishing faster is better if possible

well I wouldn’t play normal warzone for reqs as the games tend to drag out for a while, heroic firefight is about the same but takes less time and legendary should give you over 2000 or maybe even 3000 if you do really well and that takes up less time than normal warzone.

You earn req points in games by accomplishing stuff in the game. You don’t get them automatically based on time. If this was your last game according to your service record you capped 2 bases, three boss takedowns and only 10 Spartan kills in thirty minutes of play. Had you done a more you probably would have gotten a few more points.

I get around that amount in 20 minute BTB games without a boost. I do think there should be a cap to prevent abuse, but it should be raised. The sad part is, I could play an 8 minute Infection game and get around or more than that.

Helps if you win those games too.

How, I don’t know.
Warzone is Halo 5’s worst gamemode.

From what I learned when I grinded assault to unlock everything (I’m assuming since it’s assualt it will correlate with regular warzone too)
There is no timer. At least not a large one. You can defend the first base and get the same payout even from a long dragged out game (15-20 minutes) maybe if there is a timer it’s 5-7 minutes?
kills don’t matter if you’re attacking you can stay at spawn not doing anything and get the same amount of points as someone who got 30 kills (couple hundred points difference).
though assualt isn’t as popular as it use to be and the wait times are atrocious

Use your RP boosts, they help a lot. If you want more req points after that you could do what I did and sold all of my XP boosts as well. That gave me a bunch of points

Thats your opinion. Every Arena mode besides SWAT is way worse than Warzone in my opinion. See how that works?
