- Sometimes when i play warzone i fire some on some bosses but i still know that my shoots cant have been the last shotts / the killing shoot since i could see that the boss hp was way higher than i could have damage… but still it says that i killed it…
My question is if this is called a kill steal?
2.how is it even possible that i have not earnd any of these medals: Sniper kill, Railgun kill, Beam kill, Hydra kill, Shotgun kill, Binary kill, Scattershot kill, Granade kill or Rocket kill. I mean like, i got tape to prove that have gotten kills using these weapons
Well it all depends on what you consider a steal. Some people call taking someone else’s assassination is a steal, but others say it’s your fault when you have the animations enabled. The medals depend on whether you actually had the weapon equipped and actually killed the target, so its debatable. For boss kills, its more of a team effort to bring it down and it even says on the tag that you help contribute to the take down of the boss, unless there is a small X that appears, in which case you actually did get the finishing shot in.

#1- you get boss kill medals as long as you did some damage towards the end of the bosses life. So if your team gets the kill you may receive the medal. No that is not a steal. A steal is if you are lucky or skilled enough to time a killing shot of a boss when an enemy team has dealt most of the damage. There is nothing wrong with stealing boss kills from the other team… In fact I used to live for it.
#2- to get medals for the weapons you have to kill enemy Spartans with them (enemy AIs covie or prometheans dont count) and they have to be the base level not the higher req level ones.
its a team game, there is no such thing as a kill steal. unless you are talking about killing the boss before the other team in which case that is the whole point of the game.

Actually yes you can steal kills from your teammate… If they are in an assassination animation and you kill who ever they were killing… Which is indeed being a yoink granted only if you did it on purpose.

well if you dont put your whole effort into killing the boss you are doing your teammates a disfavor and the enemy could easily have taken that kill. also if you are going to do an assasination that is a risk you will need to take. it is much better for you and your team if you turn assasinations off
You can only get weapon-specific kills such as shotgun and rocket kills in Warzone. You cannot earn them in Arena.
I’ve considered this also and the potential for Damage over Time should apply in the case of Warzone bosses. In theory a team need only have one shot hit the boss, being the last shot, a 150 or 200 points is awarded. I don’t consider that fair or balanced.
A consideration for future Halo titles as I would see this as unlikely for H5?
