I love warzone I really do. But I can’t enjoy it like I use to because there are nothing but straight up kill farmers and spawn campers everywhere. Its unfair and unsporty. I hate playing with them. There should be a separate place for these type of people to play instead of preying on new players. There is no need to be a try hard in warzone. 343 please listen it’s really important and I feel like this issue is being ignored for way too long it needs to be addressed.
im sick and tired of getting matches of warzone where the enemy team repeatedly assaults the core and does it only for kills, i know everyone here has had that type of match, so i have an idea. i say after 3 mins of the core being available turrets should be deployed and should target and shoot enemies that are grinding for kills with vehicles and camping outside the base. these turrets should be able to be destroyed but then come back after 2 mins, it would stop the play style of warzone by alot and stop people from being -Yoinks!- in warzone, saving the game from others. most people stop playing halo 5 for bad multiplayer, and i can see why. you should also be limited to 2 vehicles per match, because i know everyone has seen that one person that repeatedly takes out banshees, mostly sword and ultra banshees, the warzone matches can be fun, if you dont have people that focus on grinding. and we are all influenced by each others playstyles, when we see someone that uses a banshee and flips repeatedly and grinds for kills we learn from them. warzone needs to be fixed, by alot. and its up to us to let 343 know this, because if we dont tell them what happens in matches and we keep this to our selves then its never gonna get better
The players are the ones that cause the farming. If 343 makes changes, the players will figure out another way to farm. These issues have been around a very long time. If they got rid of stats, commendations, very the spawn locations, and match teams with team, and solos with solos this might slow it down abit, but the players will still want to get as many kills as they can. So I blame the players more than 343 on this one.
Ban is not a solution. The best solution for me is better spawns and matchmaking.
Dude I know what you mean. I only played like 3 matches of Warzone and gave up because I got spawn killed every single time, not kidding. Just didn’t quit so that I wouldn’t get banned.
I couldn’t even do anything…legit just spawn and die the entire time.

How is spawn camping even possible in warzone? You actually have some control over where you spawn. If you think you need to spawn in some particular place in order to be competitive then you’re feeding the problem as much as the enemy is. It takes two to spawn camp, as they say. At any rate, quit trying to win a match that can’t be won and just start playing for (remember, after all, that this is what games are all about) FUN. Spawn inside your base and figure out how to move up from there. And move up with the idea of getting kills, not with the idea of capping bases or killing AIs. Know when the match is lost, and know how to keep playing without letting the enemy grind you up.

Farmers shouldn’t be banned, honestly.
I don’t like being farmed as much as the next guy but that’s not a reason to ban someone. They’re not cheating or breaking rules.

Wow. I guess I’m not good enough to be pitted against these kinds of players so I’ll take you at your word that this sort of thing goes on. Personally, if I found myself in a match like that then I’d quit. I don’t know where the idea came from that quitting matches makes you evil. I know it’s a tactic I use more than I should, but if ever there was a situation that called for it then I’d say this was it.

Yeah I barely play Warzone because of stuff like this. The game starts good and then some how it turns into a spawn camping snipe fest. I had a guy legit 180 headshot me after I walked out of my home base spawn…it’s so ridiculous that it’s almost funny lol, like how do these people think it’s not obvious what they’re doing?
I just don’t quit because I know that after a bunch of quits, you’ll start getting timed bans and I don’t want that since I enjoy the other playlists. There’s another thread on here going right now where the XIM4 and its abuses in matchmaking are being discussed, not sure what the title of the thread is.
You can report unsportsmanlike behavior.

I don’t want to be that guy who encourages “bad” behavior, but here’s how the bans work.
First, it takes more than a few consecutive quits to get a ban. I don’t know the exact number, but you can quit three or four matches in a row without getting the hammer. It may be more sensitive if you’ve got recent bans in your history, but not much more sensitive. The bans are also progressive, meaning that the first ban is short (measured in minutes, I think) and consecutive bans only get longer if they follow closely on the heels of one and other. I’ve got those too, and I’ve had one last as long as 24 hours, but so far no longer than that. And that was the result of more consecutive quitting than any normal person would ever do.
Second, banning is warzone or arena, not both. If you get kicked from one hopper you can still play in the other. If you get a ban in one then your behavior in the next is scrutinized more carefully, but at least you have that out.
Again, not trying to encourage anyone to do things that are considered bad form by the powers-that-be, but everyone has to decide for themselves what they’re willing to tolerate and what they’re not.
I’ve thought about it and the best solution would be to allow you to destroy your own core to finish the game

Your teammates doing that just to troll would happen way too much.
Issue will never be fixed in H5, but it will probably be addressed in H6.

Recon Z 3 R 0 is right… You have to use your head and use strategy if you’re having problems with every time you go up against another spartan just remember they’re not AI, and if you have need help getting better join a spartan company, like my company Trojan Soldiers we use multiple training maps that we have created on forge for practice, I personally will help anyone that needs it. But the best advice I can give is just play, the harder the opponents you face the better you will be, It’s like any sport play noobs stay a noob, play good players be a great player
It does seem like that is a common issue. One other solution is to just give it time. New people will join in, and things will go back to normal for some time. And then it’ll go back and forth. Not much anyone can do about it at this point.

If there are only 2 vehicles per match, then you would GAIN reqs faster that burning them. Just play smart.
It’s already bad enough when you get steamrolled by a huge Spartan Company…thrice.
Thrice is a way of saying “three times” in the same matter as once or twice.
