If the money and development time that was put into warzone was put into “arena” modes just think how this game could have turned out, Halo 5 multiple gambled on the idea that people would fall into warzone and they did.
This means it’s now unlikely that Halo will return to having no micro transactions and warzone is probably here to stay for future games, the reason why I think this is bad is because it degrades the quality of the rest of the game. Too me it feels like if you don’t like warzone or reqs then Halo 5 is very empty. I personally don’t enjoy warzone at all and sell every Req I get.
Probably less Warzone itself and more the new networking and cloud systems they have in place.
I think you’re in the minority then. Warzone is pretty great for most people. Sucks that it didn’t grab you though

I agree with everything you said, warzone is one of the contributing factors.
Warzone can get repetitive after a while, but I like it though.
2 playlists isn’t enough, 3 will help but we need at least the same amount as arena.
The problem with Warzone is how repetitive it is. Every map seems to have its own ending and it always ends the same way. Bosses don’t rotate it vary at all. REQs limit what you can do. And if you are a solo player because all your friends left this horrible game already you get stomped on every game because the game want designed to be fun, it was designed to be competitive and punish.

absolutely not, Arena needs to be finished before they start adding more modes to a brand new mode they created for 5, they need to get the things that made other halo games in before that.

I love these threads. Let’s see here…
Next to Grifball, Warzone is actually Halo 5’s most populated playlist. The revenue from all those REQ pack sales may also extend 343’s FREE (to you, not me) DLC release timeline. I buy REQs because I like Warzone and you get more content because of it. You’re welcome OP. Don’t you feel bad now for complaining so much? If you want to experience the bad kind of microtransactions, I’m sure the folks at Overkill are happy to take your money for some safe keys, but 343 is doing it right.
And Warzone isn’t going anywhere. They already have the assets developed and the balancing experience. Why waste all that? If you don’t like Warzone, don’t play it.
