am I the only one who sees this, it seems like the game purposely gives one team the boss kills
like one thing that makes me mad is that my team will have 2/3 of the bases captured and have way more spartan kills then the other team but when it comes to the legendary bosses, the game piratically chooses who gets that kill. I remember one time it was a close game and who ever was going to kill the warden was going to win, so my team has scorpions, banshees, wraiths, ghost, and rockets going ham on the warden while the other team is going around and capturing our bases, the warden is about dead and my team is still pumbling the crap out of the warden then 3 people from the other team come in with battle rifles, they get only a couple of shots off and the game gives them the kill, the team also got the other two legendary kills before hand.
it seems like before the game even starts the game chooses which team is going to win off the back and it makes sure that team wins
one very frustrating example I have, me and my team were attacking a legendary knight, we get it’s health to practically zero, there is no bar left we are still shooting it and it’s not dying, then one person from the other team comes in and gets one shot onto the knight and there team gets the kill.
all I say is this crap is getting ridiculous, it shouldn’t really be who gets the final shot it should be the team who dealt the most damage to the boss should get the kill
It sounds like you’re getting outplayed.
I can see where you’re coming from, but it isn’t. Keep at it and it will eventually even out.
It’s basically RNG when everyone’s shooting the same boss at the same time.
Honestly though Op, warzone has flaws, I won’t deny it, and this is an example of something that could use a lot of tweeking.
Let the other team take wardens health down and you cap their bases then come in for the last bit of warden health and steal the kill.
I don’t think the “game” decides who wins but I have noticed that warzone matches seem to snowball. Once one team gets a decent lead they seem to get all the bosses and the other team usually just melts away. I think lots of people know the game well enough to recognize the point in a match where your odds are very small, and so they go into goof off mode. That’s what I do anyway.
You’re not out of this yet. You can still destroy the enemy core.

(Palmers word fill you with determination.)

Oh, Palmer…
You’ve always been our ray of hope.
> You’re not out of this yet. You can still destroy the enemy core.
Yes! Praise the almighty Sarah Palmer!
> You’re not out of this yet. You can still destroy the enemy core.
As always, your optimism is intoxicating…
and by that I mean poisonous.

Palmer’s words make my blood boil especially when her statements come after we get triple capped.
In my view, Palmer is the most overrated and useless character in all of Halo lore.

Shhh… She’s right there. You don’t want her to hear you.

Or when you’ve been triple capped and your team has about 89 points, most of which are the two bosses and the half a dozen enemy players you’ve personally killed.
I think splitting the points for damage would be better then whoever gets the last kill. Sometimes the other team gets lucky and steals it, sometimes my team gets lucky. Its about a 50/50 chance depending on which reqs you use. For instance, a spartan laser is really good at getting steal as well as an oni chaingun. Most vehicles are not as good even though they deal lots of damage
I can’t prove it, but I do think the game decides which team will be the likely winner and it will sort players to each team accordingly based on if you’re due for a win or loss. So if you’re on a 4 or 5 win streak, the game will think you’re due for a loss and put you against better opponents or full parties and/or give you less skilled teammates.
I don’t think it’s full proof though since a team could pull out a miraculous win or if you play with a full party all the time you’ll most likely be on the winning side. That’s where JIP comes in though when playing solo since the game can put you in a game where the likelyhood of you winning is extremely unlikely or it can put you in a game where it’s highly likely that you’ll win.
ok I completely forgot about this
and reading it back I have no idea was I was thinking
I’m an idiot, I’ll admit that
Hmm, I just read through the comments, and I’m surprised people somewhat agree with me
it’s not really idiotic to think something is going on, but the way I put it wasn’t the best
Even if it is your own topic, please don’t revive years old threads thanks
