Warzone is one sided

I’ll keep it short and not so sweet.
One team kills, gets points and req levels. Uses req levels to take even further lead. Uses even more req points to take even more of a lead. GG
Other team is slaughtered because they don’t have the OP weapons and vehicles. Can’t get req points because they lose all the fights.GG

Warzone should just scrap req levelling and just increase the req levels equally as the match progresses.

If anything a team in the lead should have a bit of a req level disadvantage and the bigger the lead the bigger the disadvantage. If they are really a better team it shouldn’t effect them too much. So they would essential take turns at who has more levels.

Req levelling is inconsistent and I think 343 know this I posted a few threads trying to figure out how req levelling works and in one of my threads some one from 343 posted a hidden message and the thread got locked for being in the wrong section. Which makes no sence cause they should of moved the topic not locked it.

I’ve often seen during a game both teams have about the same number of kills, the same number of points, but one team has level 2-3 and the other has 6-8. I tend to notice it just before some one is about to get steam rolled. It always tends to be around the 200-250 area in points with only a 5-20 point difference and it doesn’t matter who has the lead. The winning team can suddenly be at a disadvantage.

One way to make it more balanced is for req level to not increase when taking out bosses or AIs since most players would be able to spawn their reqs once they’ve taken out the bosses and got their higher req levels. As a Warzone player im not a fan of this idea but its a suggestion.
Otherwise warzone is very unpredictable since a team can be spawning reqs and dominating and the next they could be the ones getting pinned if the enemy steals a major boss from them

I’m fine with how it is. You just have to PTFO and cap basses and kill bosses. That’s how you get higher req levels faster. Cap home base and kill the first 25 point boss? Now you’re probably pretty close to req level 3

What you just said is literally the formula to win warzone… Kill the bosses and capture based and you won’t have this problem. if you don’t do this you have zero right to complain, Warzone isn’t one sided.

I don’t think OP was saying both teams don’t have an equal chance to gain req points and win. Instead, I think OP was talking about the snowball effect that happens when one team starts to gain an advantage, and how it tends to cause one-sided blowout matches. In my experience, this happens a lot and isn’t very fun, even when I’m on the winning team.

So better teams should be punished for playing well and worse teams should be rewarded for playing poorly? Makes perfect sense /sarcasm

It would stop any kind of steam rolling if it kept switching and when I said a bit I was mainly thinking by 1 giving that it goes up to 9 but I think equal levels makes better sense I’m mostly spit balling to see if any one had a better idea.

Its not even consistent you don’t have to play well to have the req advantage you can be winning and still have the lower req level.

What you call formula I call balance issues.

I’ll keep it short. H5’s social matching system sucks which is why you get so many lopsided games.

So what is a blowout? 1000-600 isn’t one sided. A blowout would be 1000 toa score below 300 IMO. Anything is was a game that one deserved the losee and one the win.

And yes, maybe scrapping bosses affecting Req levels. Would clear up the opposing team stealing the whole game by stealing a boss kill at the last second.

I dunno why but every time I load a match I end up being dumped in the losing team. My rank is among the highest in my team yet my whole team and myself are slaughtered mercilessly

The only time a team is limited to low REQs is if they are getting wrecked by a 12 man team that trip caps the, right off the bat. But equal REQs for all would be ridiculous, why should someone who is going 20-3 have the same REQ level as someone going 5-12 midway through a game? It’s perfectly fair that killing bosses and getting more kills rewards you with higher tier weapons as the game progresses. If people don’t want the snowball effect happening then they should play better during the early game. I go out of my way at the start to kill AI and cap the first base so that I can have a BR asap to overpower and outrange people’s magnums, is that not fair? Should everybody get a BR at the same time to make it more fair?

That’s actualy a really good idea. Still, everyone being on the same req level at the same time is not very good. I suggest that there should be req levels at different time stamps. For ex: 3:33 minutes into the game and everyone should have Req 3. This gives the enemy a good chance to fight.

Idk I only use loadout weapons the only time I use req weapons is for a sniper or if I pick on up but o usually don’t spawn anything and I average 30 kills and 12ish deaths? I play different than most people so that may be it but idk

Req levels at time stamps would essentially eliminate a large portion of skill. So a guy who’s got let’s say 1 boss kill and is going 3-12 should at 5 minutes or so into the game be at level five REQs? Yeah no.

It could use some balance tbh.

So like you can earn it quicker if you out perform but balances out later on

I find the only reason it fully snow balls is cause people quit too much when it happens. I’ve even had a full team of randoms get it done and it only happened cause the other team started dropping out. Its not even about getting kills why should some one not playing the objective have a higher req level than some one taking down bosses. It’s not like you can even get kills if there is a req level difference unless one of them dies near you. I wonder if every one having a br would fix it giving the range problems.

Ive often faced the same companies again and again and found it depends on if I have quitters or not.
