Warzone is completley unfair

So I’ve been playing multiplayer for quite some time and have played my share of war zone and have won games and lost some as well but the fact of the matter is 150 go for a A.I KILL IN the beginning of the game on top of other Spartans shooting you then giving then a 150+ lead doesn’t seem fair especially with dim wit teammates who belive it’s a big team battle and kill only other Spartans instead of going after bosses etc. Then we got the broken req system it takes forever to get those high up read especially when the enemy team kills the begining boss you’re at most req 3 when they are pushing 5 then they start taking you’re bases with swords and.shottys with no spawn immunity soon as you spawn you’re instantly able to die. Then we also got the fact you have to run literally everywhere no vehicles spawn in home base yes I know that’s what the reqs are for but it costs 1 req for a mongoose like come on have some. To start with and maybe one warthog. One idea to fix one of these MANY issues is maybe give assist point toward you’re score for damaging the bosses like maybe 30 vp to help with instead of having games be completly one sided at the end with a score of 1000 to 450 and a 4 second immunity would be great in bases but you can’t shoot while immune. Anyone else who shares my same frustration with this game modes feel free to share you’re ideas as well

Holy lack of commans and periods!

Its an unfortunate fact that many players will only go out for themselves. I do it at times. I love winning but I also like lone wolfing it up.

It plays well but I could agree they could wait to have epic bosses show up later and drop value to 100 not 150

Well, that’s because no one uses mics anymore and nor do they attempt any form of communication. If they perhaps added the objective command function from Campaign into Warzone, and give the ability to the three highest SR rank players, or if there is a tie the highest CSR.

I don’t really understand the point of the AI bosses (or any of the AI enemies) at all really. Why not have just made it a 24v24 with REQ perks and base capture? I’m not really sure who the annoying AI farming for points is appealing to, MOBA players? Just feels weird.

the worst part of AI bosses is that they play such a crucial part in determining which team wins, but the mechanic for giving out those points for beating one is broken.

if my team had 6 people shooting one of the big ones and did 99% of the work, it’s total -Yoinking!- -Yoink- that some -Yoink- on the other team scoped in with his pistol from across the map and got the last point of damage somehow, so the enemy team just gets all the points and we get nothing.

Warzone Assault doesn’t utilize the A.I.

My biggest issue is the base respawn locations. I get spawned at a random one around the base and get killed in an instant because I spawned in front of the enemy tank. Or an enemy on a gungoose, or three enemy team members.

A little bit of protection would be nice, or at least spawning me on the other side of the base.

Um, Waypoint has this thing called Spartan Companies. An easy way to get players on the same page and working together. Do that…? You can’t complain about a 12 v 12 game type that you join alone… that is stupid.

I agree with most of what was said in OP. It’s kind of ridiculous.

Yeah … I would really love a revised boss-killing system … A teams gets points based on the amount of damage on the team does to the boss.
I usually wait until the boss is 50-30% health and then I go in for the attack and steal the kill from the enemy … Sniping it from across the map … So they waste so much time and energy and get NOTHING …
I actually find that lame …
It should be like if you deal 50% dmg to the boss and the other team deals the other 50% … Each team gets 75 points … Thereby making sure that the boss-killing becomes something that both teams clamber to get to asap and the battle is heated!
It’s not that I don’t like the current system … I would just like it more like the way I just wrote :stuck_out_tongue:

Warzone really just makes me depressed. I see what could’ve been buried beneath the “first to get a tank wins unless you happen to have a rocket launcher req, unless you’re sniped before you can take on the tank and then lol you’re boned” reality of it. I’ve never had a close match, it’s always a steamroll in one direction or the other.

It’s a new game type…give it a few days.

Yeah, it’s one of those things that you just gotta play and figure out. They could do a bit better of a job explaining it in-game or before you start.

If they would just split the points based on damage for the legendary bosses, I’d have no problem with it. Can’t tell you how many times our team would rally on the boss take nearly all its health and go for the kill only to have some lucky son of a -Yoink- on the other team fire one round in on it that kills it. Split it up, give up the percent damage we did to the boss out of 150 points, and give them their percent damage out of 150 points.

AND FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT IS HOLY, FIX THE “RETRIEVING REQS” THING.
