It’s REALLY infuriating spending the time in game and getting to 7-8xx points and then the game either “Connection lost” (Im wired and showing no network issues on my end) or the game just…exiting.

I would still just try a hard reset and relaunch the game
unfortunately that doesn’t help either.
Is your NAT set to open. If it is not setting it to open may help. I am wired with an open NAT, and my disconnects practically disappeared. If I get disconnected now, it is an xbox outage, rare, or an ISP issue more common.

Also OP try a network connection test, for both internet and multiplayer.
NAT is always open for me. I have said it before - network on my end is not the issue. ISP isn’t reporting outages, nor is my internet showing any disruptions.

Actually it can be your network on your end. I occasionally had this same issue. Probably once or twice a night. No network issues. Everything was always fine. I recently replaced my modem and router for a modem/router combo. I now never have this problem. Your hardware just may be failing and dropping packets intermittently enough that you don’t get kicked from live or the internet but you lose your connectivity to the dedicated server ever-so briefly.
