Many people on this forum complain about how “unbalanced” warzone is. Some of these complaints I find agreeable, while I find others a bit unjustified.
One of the complaints I hear often regards player’s ability to spawn weapons and vehicles at will. I fail see how this creates a problem with balancing when Warzone unlike Arena, lacks pre-positioned power weapons and vehicles, but instead allows individual players to choose which power weapons and vehicles he or she would like to use at the moment. This is meant to appeal to players who can’t always use certain weapons/vehicles that are in arena or BTB.(By the way, Warzone is the only place in match making multiplayer where you can pilot a phaeton). If your not fortunate enough to get a chance to use a specific weapon or vehicle due to other players competing for it, you can it in during a Warzone match. Warzone has been in existence for nearly a year now, I don’t understand some people don’t expect that many people will have power weapons and vehicles in one match.
Warzone does have its flaws. I’ve seen people complain about “the snowball effect” and the horrible spawns. These complaints are justifyable since they do create a fustrating experience.
Overall, I think Warzone is fun, and it is not a horribly designed game mode.
Some may not like this response but war zone is to complex for the majority of causal players now. It’s literally impossible to match two teams of 12 and get balanced games every time, or even a majority of time, when there are so many factors that come with a game type like warzone.

Right there with you.
It’s essentially Halo 4 with larger scale and A.I. added. It questions me how people on this community praise Warzone when they bash Halo 4 for its gameplay.
I love Warzone tbh

Halo 4 was a lot of fun from a social perspective. Just like WarZone is.
Where halo 4 did not do well was ranked stuff and arguably smaller team games. My opinions of course.

Even when I search with a large party full of talented halo individuals, we often run into these WarZone pros that have the WarZone experience so nailed down there’s no chance of us winning. They know every nook and cranny they can hide in, every exploit, every tactic. It’s why I prefer the simplicity of BTB. I think this is sort of what you’re talking about. If my large parties can’t compete with the WarZone pros, it can’t be easy for people new to the franchise solo queing. I had the good fortune to learn WarZone when it was new… and everyone was learning it lol
Warzone is the pinnacle of Halo gameplay. It’s by far the best thing they have ever added. If it weren’t for Warzone I would have stopped playing this game probably about 6 months ago. Instead I play it every day and will continue to play as long as they keep adding new stuff. I will have to take some time off Halo though when the new Dark Souls DLC comes out, that takes precedence over any and all other games.
I havent enjoyed Warzone in months because I keep getting matched against large premade teams as a solo player. That and the constant forced stat tracking doesn’t help. Thankfully Warzone Firefight gives me all the REQ points I need.

The complaint about Halo 4 was that it only catered to casuals. Warzone fulfills that aspect, but there is also Arena for competitive, balanced play, which Halo 4 lacked.

Who in the world is forcing you to track your stats?

People criticized Halo 4 for not being a proper Halo game. Is Warzone a game mode that belongs to Halo then?
Am I the only one that thinks Warzone assualt is the best warzone playlist?

There is not a single playlist in Halo 5 where K/D and W/L are not tracked, which keeps people like me who obsess over that stuff from having a playlist to relax and experiment with guns instead of sweating blood all day everyday. Without stat tracking, getting matched against teams wouldn’t matter to me because there’d be no Halo Waypoint scorecard to worry, once that match is done it’s done. It’s one of the reasons all of my friends stopped playing the game and sold it (one burned the disc intentionally).
Before you pay ‘people don’t care about that stuff’ I’ve meet PLENTY of people who look at it.

What does that even mean?

Dude, thats a personal problem. The fact that you can’t just not look at/care about numbers that are tracked for people who want them just means you have obsessive-compulsive tendencies. It’s not the game’s fault. Some people want that information, so it’s there. If you don’t want it, don’t look, it isn’t in any way necessary to the game. A game can’t be held accountable for players idiosyncrasies, that’s a ridiculous expectation. It’s a game, not a coddling eMother.
Overall I still have a fun in warzone. Probably my favorite mode of H5. Either firefight(despite their stupid long respawn time) and regular warzone. I am a solo player as well but I consider myself a really good Halo player so even teams don’t ruin it for me. I don’t put to much weight on winning in warzone just my personal performance really. I really hope to see warzone turbo return soon. I have a ton of reqs burning a hole in my inventory.
