I had a brilliant thought for Infection in Halo 5: Warzone Infection.
Don’t worry this won’t be as unbalanced as it may seem. Since having the battle span out across the whole map would be ridiculous, half of the players would start out defending themselves in the East Armory and the other half in the West Armory. Players would then hold out there for a couple minutes defending themselves, then those who managed to survive would them move to the Garage and hold out there for a few minutes. Whoever is the last man standing takes all.
REQs would be used, but not in the way that you’d expect. Players would have access to only the standard Shotgun and Scattershot. That means no Blaze of Glory, Didact’s Signet, etc. Players would only have access to 9 REQ points the entire match, meaning that the points wouldn’t regenerate. Once you use them, you don’t get them back.
The Infected would be equipped with red Energy Swords, just like they were in Halo 2 Anniversary.
What do you guys think of this game mode? Of course these are just rough sketches of what the actual mode would be, so feel free to add some suggestions below.

Perhaps giving the Infected red Ravening Silvers? There could be a modified version of it which equips the Flood with Prophet’s Banes.
The other thing that could happen is the Infected could have Speed Boosts, giving them a boost in battle.
Might I suggest something slightly different…warzone holds 24 players…so you would have two teams of 10 and 4 infected…these infected would be Alphas and have "Prophet’s Bane"s…As the match progressed the survives would have to capture bases as in warzone, increasing the risk of getting infected…as players get eliminated, bonus points are awarded (if a member on Red Team gets eliminated Blue team earns +1000 because they have all of their players alive at the time infection, and then if another Red Team member is eliminated they would earn another +1000…yet, at this moment, if a Blue Team member were eliminated, Red Team would earn +800 because only 8 members remain on their team). The only Reqs available would be Loadout Weapons (all variants), Shotguns (all variants), Energy Swords (all except P’s Bane), and Mongeese (All variants, gungoose not included), and Scout Warthogs (All Varients). Players advance through Reqs as they do in warzone, but start at level 5, but have no points to spend (you can start with a DMR, but no Energy Sword). As you get kills you earn points and levels. +100 will be awarded to a team when a member reaches a higher req level.

Did you not read my whole post? I said that players would be limited to one base at a time.

Players spawn main central base. Like the garage. Pistol and shotgun only. Start with 4 zombies. That leaves 20 on 4. Zombies spawn 2 each at the other bases and random spawns from there on out. Can only REQ one per round, and it’s a mongoose or scout hog.
