Warzone In Infinite?

Anyone wanna see Warzone in Infinite?
I for one like the concept of Warzone. Everything with the exception of Reqs I like in Warzone. Any ways it could be improved?

Warzone without REQs would be great

How would you imagine it ? How would you get your power weapons? Would they spawn on the map? How would it work?

like any horde mode kill stuff and earn points to spend in said weapons shop like I dunno say call of duty or Gears of war for example.

They would spawn on the map. If you capture a point, you get power weapons. You will still be able to spawn with standard weapons

Warzone wasn’t bad but it definitely was one of those stranger game types. Considering the Requisition System likely not returning due to the reception it got, I got my doubts Warzone’s returning unless they revamp it to not have Reqs. Wouldn’t mind it returning but wouldn’t miss it if it’s gone.

The Fix of the req system that I was thinking of was earning points, and instead of buying packs in a menu, you buy reqs in menu, obviously with staggered prices. This removes the loot box issue and allows players to get what they want in game. Obviously certain reqs would cost more, and there would be a cooldown to prevent req sprees. The only issue is microtransactions, but this can be solved by bring back packs, at the same price and power as they are now, but only make them available by paying, that way you cant pay to buy 200 Nornfangs, but you can buy a chance at one. I don’t see them using this system, because it’s not the greatest for money generation.

I wouldn’'t mind warzone returning although, Warzone mode deprived a lot of resources from other game modes such as BTB. If I were to improve the warzone gamemode I would
1: Remove the reqs.
Players will earn some of their weapons/vehicles in the strongholds or other spots on the map, giving a stronger incentive to hold a stronghold. Merit will also be included but as PowerSloth described, have cooldowns to avoid the “snowball effect”. Doing the objective, kills, assists gives points to the player where they can purchase weapons or vehicles in game.

2: To make the mode feel a bit more new while staying to its core, the longer a team holds a stronghold the more defenses it builds up. Mixing a bit of dominion in there.

I was thinking of whichever team gets x territory points would be able to raid the core, instead of capturing all 3 strongholds (maybe both in the matters.) However, that’s just based on my preference.

Hopefully if warzone does return, it maximizes its resources such as implementing maps, weapons in forge or branch off different game modes.

I honestly believe Warzone will be reworked into a Battle Royale format. What that entails is anyone’s guess.

I’d rather see a Battle Royale than Warzone

There should be a shop for Reqs, so you don’t have to open a random pack expecting something good, and getting nothing but warthogs.

Kind of like Star Wars BF points for Heroes and Reinforcements

I would really like Warzone to come back I like bigger game modes if recs don’t come back I like to have covenant and Ai and promithians in the mode like in warzone in halo 5 guardians put every past halo vehicles in the mode and the 2 new ones in halo 5 guardians but have vehicles of every kind 2 of each at the base make it twice as large the maps 343 industries spent a ton a lot of time of making warzone and they made a halo map of warzone with mega blocks
make it so you can forge on these maps to play in custom games I do have my own Halo Infinite Warzone post on my Profile you guys should look at!!

i think i follow what youre saying but damn…add some periods at the end of those sentences.

I like req points in warzone, though 343 never quite fixed the snow balling effect.

I hope they add in using req points to upgrade marines and bases.

NO! PLEASE! SPARE ME! HALP!!! AHHHHHHHHHH! (dies)

Seriously, Warzone was a good idea with disastrous execution.
Personally, the idea might have worked, if it had not been for the infernal REQ’s!
REQ’s ruined the Halo Sandbox and made it about pay-to-win instead of skill-to-kill. (heh heh, I gotta use that more)

You had a bunch of low-skill people who had the money for REQ packs running around with Halo CE Magnums, while the budget yet highly skilled players were running around with normal weapons. And thus, getting shredded.

The solution to the REQ problem? Destroy it ALL! I never want to see a REQ again.

And the solution to Warzone? Since REQ’s were a big part of Halo 5’s multiplayer in general. I would suggest putting Warzone back in the think tank and rebooting it entirely. Erasing all remnants of the horror-show that was Halo 5.

I’ve played H5 since it’s beta, and I literally never felt like I was losing in warzone because I hadn’t spent money on anything but the announcer Voices. Warzone stomps are always mic-team vs no-mic-team.

Calling the req system pay-to-win fits by definition, but not in experience with the system.

That’s all my opinion though I guess.

Everyone can have their own opinion!

A Battlefront point system would be great. You rack up points for capturing zones and getting kills. Maybe you get a killing spree and then grab a sniper to help your team. Or, you could call in some ai to help out? Maybe you can call in a pair of hunters to help you siege a base?

Warzone and Warzone Firefight would be fun to see in Infinite, they could take major parts of the ring and have you fight in those areas, as well as taking classic firefight maps for WZFF
