Warzone (help?)

I know I’m not great at Warzone. I’m still struggling with it. I’ve found that taking out bosses is very important. The issue I’m having is that I have several Scorpion and Mantis vehicle cards to use, but my REQ level meter thing that appears at the bottom of the screen only during a Warzone match never gets high enough to let me use my high level cards like the Scorpion Tank or the Mantis. The highest it seems to ever go is to use a Wraith tank. I have the cards, but I can’t use them.

Im wondering is this an issue for a lot of people? Or am I in the minority and need to just get better at Warzone?
If it’s the former then maybe 343 can fix it to level faster or let both teams level equally and simultaneously. If it’s the latter then please provide some tips.

Kill bosses and capture bases to get the req up higher. Just kill the enemy wont get it up too fast

nah, 2/4 in the game im at level 5 already and then by 3/4 im already getting level 7-8 reqs. My advice is to kill as much people as you can including bosses and capture enemy bases. I managed to get 60 kills in one warzone game but we still lost that game because my team was not playing the objective.

Probably didn’t help that you werent playing it either.

Bases and bosses give the more Req. Killing Spartans is small compared to them. Am I saying not to kill them? No. But taking a base will give you a huge boost

Get 2-3 friends with mics.

1: Hunt bosses
On Apex and Stormbreak, flank around and take the enemy armoury asap, ignoring middle base. Works on ARC too but not as effective.

2: Kill anyone in your path

3: ???

4: Profit!

I used that just now. Bosses and bases and it seemed to help. I got the level high enough for a scorpion but not a mantis yet. Any advice for not getting a boss takeout stolen from another team?

If I am at a boss and know the enemy are there I shoot them instead. I’ll wait till allies show up to help me. You get the req points if your team kills the boss. You personally do not need too. So if its a major boss focus on the enemy spartans before the big guy

If you aren’t getting high REQ levels before the game ends it’s because you’re doing badly in the game. Think of them like killstreak rewards. The easiest way to level it up is to kill bosses. Slaughtering the enemy team in piles also works well, but that probably isn’t something the majority can pull off.

Thanks for being cool about it and your advice. I’ll try it more. I’m getting better at deciding when I should try to advance on a base or go after a boss.

For warzone iv found that you can quickly reach rank 3-5 by following this: (sorry i can’t remember map names)
ARC:
-Clear the base
-Run outside to the booster, boost to the elite. Melle him as he drops down.
-Capture Armory
-head into tunnel and kill covenant (Spartan charge to the back works a treat)
-from here it gets a little harder, but I just follow team and aim for AI when they spawn.

Other Maps,
clear the base
capture second point
then hunt AI.
Snow map, they spawn off the cliff at 2 mins, then down the tunnel at 4 mins.
Jungle map, after capturing the base, head into the cave on the right, follow to the round area. elites spawn with swords at 2 mins, continue though the cave and to the structure outside and elite will spawn with fuel rod at 4 mins.

Taking out these bosses can be hard solo, but can rack up some serious score. Even if your team loses you should have a minimum of 500 points.
Make sure to open bronze packs to get all the variants of the standard AR/BR. These can help getting your req level up early on.

Hope this helps.

Also don’t use your points as soon as you get them as they reset if you equip a weapon etc.
Save them for what you really want

You need people who play objectives and can semi communicate

War zone assault has taken away all my curiousity to retry Warzone. But I was a die-hard invasion fan, however, I’ve loved assault thus far. I would give that a go.
