Warzone has terrible spawns.

So the spawn system is pretty lame in this game. For example: - YouTube

other reasons include when your base is being captured and you get spawned on the other side of the map. Any way you guys think they can fix this?

Every map has terrible respawns.

If you think Warzone spawns are awful, try BTB. I don’t understand how Reach understood how to choose a spawn away from enemies or near teammates and a game one console generation and five years newer can’t get it. Pair the terrible enemy proximity detection with AR/BR spawns in BTB and once you get caught in the cycle of spawning and getting teamshot… it just never ends.

Grifball spawns have been terrible for me lately. Always near your goal, but the opponents just start camping there so I immediately get killed. WZ has some bad ones, but not as consistently bad as WZA, you always end up far away from the base, and have to spend 20 seconds just running up to it, only to get picked off half the time by BR

WZA, when you’re spawned a mile away from defending or capturing a base. I almost want to give up when that happens through the match. ALMOST.

Spawn, gets splattered by ghost (either side).
Spawn, move 2 feet and killed/sniped.
Spawn, gets spawns miles from where you wanted.
Spawn, on the side of the enemies base facing and not on the side of your base.
Spawn, outside the core, this is great on darkstar.

This covers every things that happened to me. Why ask me where to spawn, if it’s going to put me where ever.

It’s ridiculous when defenders spawn 200 meters away from the objective and attackers spawn 20 meters away.

So, what I get from this thread is, 343 is terrible at making a spawn system that actually works in Halo 5?

On a serious note, I agree.

I sometimes wish there was a spawn kill counter measure that kicks in after so many spawn kills. Maybe something like respawning with a horde of invincible pet mythic warden eternals that only targets the other team and will only hunt down the spawn killers.

giftball spawns have been like that since halo 3

yeah like i choose to spawn at the spire and it spawns me in the road by spire and i get killed… if I choose to spawn to somewhere I should spawn there not near there.

It’s not exactly easy to create the perfect spawn system. I will agree, however, that the spawning does need tweaking.

I get continuously killed by that one. You choose to spawn somewhere safe inside the base and it spawns you outside facing the wall, and then try to figure out where the hell you are!
Like it must be too difficult to spawn you in the base at the req station where your most likely going anyway.

Spawns are atrocious in this game, especially in warzone. Sometimes, I don’t even wanna try and just leave my controller on the table. But I don’t want to do that.
