Just wanted to add my two cents on this topic seeing as the developers want to hear it. Ive played thousands of solo warzone matches, and the game had become almost unplayable(solo) until this new update. Heres the way i see it. If we dedicated Halo players want to keep this game relevant, then we all need to support new players who want to learn how to play Warzone. The fire team limit assures both teams get randoms/noobs, which equals closer matches. Closer matches keep players coming back for more. That keeps our community of players deep. Ive had some of the best matches ive ever played since the update, im really enjoying the game again.
Same. I’m having so much fun in warzone now.

There is a pretty big thread on the subject here. It would probably be better for you to have a go there. For the record I agree, it isn’t the ideal solution (team-based matching),but it has made the playlist far more enjoyable for me.
I’m all for WZ matchmaking preventing uneven matches (i.e. randoms vs. twelve-man fireteam), but I don’t think this is the best way to go about it, since it destroys the experience for those that play in a full team. However well it works for solo players, the fireteam limit killed one of the best things in WZ for non-solo players, which was playing in a twelve-man team against another. There should be a playlist for solo players and small groups, and another for large groups, so that full teams could compete against each other without interfering with the solo/small group experience.
That’s how I feel about this, since only having one WZ playlist can’t cater to both solo players and full teams at the same time.
