The stupidity of Firefight! First, I love firefight. For the most, it’s a fun way to play Halo 5 Warzone. However, there are some major issues with the gameplay.

The Prometheans and Covenant are able to steal vehicles, but we can’t do the same to them.

To make the game more difficult from the Beta, 343 added an increased respawn timer to each level; the higher the level, the higher the respawn time. This is fine, but then we do respawn, we are half way across the map, which adds additional time before we are able to get back into the fight. If this is continued, respawn players much closer to the fight so as time is winding down, at least we have a chance to get back into the fight. There’s nothing worse than dying, having to wait over 20 seconds to respawn and there is only 30 seconds left in the fight. Players have zero chance of getting back into the fight to help their teammates.

A significant percent of the games, players are stuck req-less. This is incredibly frustrating! As soon as I enter a game and I don’t have the ability to use req’s, I want to quit. But, doing that too many times will earn you a ban for quitting. Not to mention, those who quit ultimately end up screwing over their teammates. This is not fair to anyone.

Some of the situations in the games are next to impossible to complete. I’m not saying they should be easy, but come on, at least give us a fighting chance. Example, Attack on APEX, level 3, kill the Legendary Hunters. There are four legendary Hunters all packed in one corner of the beach. The Hunters are surrounded by Promethean Knights, Soldiers, Crawlers, and not to mention a swarm of Banshees. This is only level 3! Most of the players are not high enough in Req’s to competently compete against such overwhelming odds. There are a few other examples of this as well.
These issues need to be addressed.
