Do we get a teaser for Warzone firefight this weekend? We didnt have a teaser cause there was no livestream on hog wild but do we have to wait till E3. I would really like to know what some of the content for the next update would be.
Too early for a reveal on the next content. Most likely they will have a trailer of warzone firefight at E3 and a req reveal after. Firefight update is scheduled to drop at the end of June so 2 weeks beforehand we will get a blurred out req teaser poster.

I would like your spartan to make comments the way the ODSTS and Spartans IIIs did in previous firefights. The “gain way” remark when a spartan makes a killing charge is a good start, we just need a bit more comic relief/ trash talk like that and less of the mind numbing chatter that usually populates a game. Also if they added voice patterns of legendary characters from across all the titles for you to apply to you Spartan for use in multi-player would be pretty cool. I would faster prefer that in a req pack than a next freaking visor colour.
The return of weapon drops on the battlefield either during or at the end of a round with a few random power weapons as well as acting as a temporary load out weapon ammo reload point away from a main base would be great as it keeps the game moving and fluid. We would have less of a need to always run back to a firebase. Which is a next thing…bring back turrents. What good is a firebase if you can’t have firepower at it. Whether the turrents be manned, automated or both bring them back.
Lastly I saw that bosses and mini bosses will be colour coded to show their rank and will be randomised (like there isn’t enough of that). The lore has tones of alternatives that could be used. There is a thread asking for Grunt commander Stolt to be a mini boss…awesome (read shadow of intent to find out about this character) or bring in the brutes, give us a glimpse of what to expect in halo wars 2 by putting a legendary brute chieftain and his lieutenants as an end wave boss.
An idea I had, have a short animation showing a Pelican or Swords of Sangheilios dropship going down and you must race to the crash site and defeat the large enemy wave to get legendary power weapons/ vehicles, allied A.I. (ODSTs/ SoS zealots) to assist in the fight. Depending on how well you defeat the wave determines how many survive to fight with you.
Or maybe even a “lower” Teir canon character assist you until the end of the wave, while giving a temporary buff to your team. Example Spartan Ray fights and boosts your teams sensors or Spartan Hoya fights also giving a boost to damage for load out weapons. Or one of the Arbiters lieutenants fights and buffs your melee/assassinations speed.
A great way to keep lesser known characters relavant while providing more to the game and player than just kill, kill, kill. That is not withstanding the other points raised about custom maps / wave control and U.I.
If I can have ideas like that just because I love halo and love the community I am in. Surely someone from Development who allegedly loves the game AND gets PAID to work on halo should be able to give us something like this. I just really hope that 343i gets it right with firefight.
