Not a major problem in my opinion, but WZFF does get pretty boring at times, and I think adding a few more modes would introduce some needed variety.
Just a few off the top of my head:
WZFF Turbo: Ridiculously hard missions, everyone starts at REQ Level 9 with fast energy regen time
Classic Firefight: Pretty much ODST but with REQs
Lone Wolves: Defending some location with a limited life pool, extremely difficult waves/visor cracking as a tribute to Reach’s last level
I have been asking for Warzone Firefight Turbo for a long time now. It would be lots of fun and probably easy for 343 to implement, too. Although even if they don’t add a new variant, I’d be happy with just small fixes like making Phantom gunners killable

They’re virtually invincible right? I couldn’t kill one even with an Ultra Banshee
Pls also try to add floodlight, those other ideas are great too

Yes. In Warzone Firefight, the Phantom gunners, and also their underside turrets, are completely invincible, which is plain stupid. The only exceptions are boss Phantoms such as Diving Sun

Not to mention their ridiculous accuracy and range
Classic Firefight: Nuff said
Flood Firefight: Endless waves of Flood, with limited lives. Ammo is scarce, you have to pry the weapons off of the corpses of Flood you have killed. Survive as long as possible, no REQs.
Versus Firefight: Underrated feature in Reach Firefight. Several player Spartans have to hold off 10 waves of Covie assult, with some players taking the helm of Elites. Spartans lose if they lose all their lives.
Covenant Firefight: Similar Beast mode in Gears of War 3, players play as all sorts of forces from the Covenant. They must take out all the humans each wave, as time goes on, you unlock more powerful forces, while the humans get more defences and more troops. Start as a lowly Grunt, end as a fearsome Hunter.
