They’ll most likely have more information in the community update Friday. Probably the Req Preview we’re used to since, like you said, it’s nearing the end of the month. No worries

I had read, from someone here, that the Firefight Update will not be the last update to H5. There will be more to come after Warzone FF.

Frank O’ Conner himself has said it’s not the last update but he was very vague about it of course. There’s been no details whatsoever about what kinds of updates will happen or anything.
As for the update release, there will be more information on the community update tomorrow. It’ll most likely be released the last week of the month. I’d guess between the 26th and the 30th but I could be wrong.
There’s bound to be some more weapons. They still have yet to release the plasma rifle variants that were leaked in the Memories of Reach update. And yeah, it’s been confirmed there will be more dlc after June. Whether it’s on par with the monthly updates, we don’t know, but probably not
Wait until tomorrow, they (usually) give us more info on Fridays.

Anyone bit surprised and disappointed it’s so small?
I’m happy, especially for new (hopefully Warzone) maps. But, well, they said it’d be the biggest update, so I was expecting a bigger list, TBH. o.o

Content wise it’s actually pretty big, a new warzone game mode, new set of weapons, two new vehicles (possibly a brand new one!), one WZ Assault map (looks like pretty cool!) and a brand new full Warzone map on Sanghelios!, a few emblems but with no weapon skins or new loadouts, it look smaller.

Oh, I mean it’s big! The new mode and the sweet amazing Warzone maps! 3 of them, hell yeah! 
I was just under impression the REQ update will be huge because they moved majority from the last Hog update to this one.
So, seing kind of almost two updates together, I expected bit more o.o
i think that the new armors look awesome
