What was the actual release time for this update I know that it comes out on the 29th but was there actually given a time of when it’ll be released?
I was wondering this also
When did the last ones come out at typically?
I believe it was sitting around 11:00 for the previous ones, I always saw the new update in study hall and my study hall is at 12:00
1 to 4 est has been common.
afternoon…ish
I wish for once they would do a midnight EST update drop and a 11 am EST activation.
It usually is 11:15 to 12:15 (Noon-ish) Central Time.
Basically, for us in Australia, we have to wait till Thursday
It is 2 in the afternoon here in England.
The DLC has yet to release and I have been waiting for 8 hours, now I am being told to wait another 6?
And not even that but Australians have to wait another day?
Is it me or does it seem unfair that people that who live closer to the time zone of 343 get it earlier?
Shouldn’t 343i at least make a statement when it will become available, because I am all out of controllers to play it on.
But on the bright side I can spend my time waiting for the DLC by waiting in line at the store to get a new controller and a bottle of bleach.

Well it is an American made game, by an American company. Common sense would tell you Americans are their general audience they cater to.

It comes out at the same time for everyone
time zones just mean for one person it’s late in their day not later than everyone else

Actually the actual update releases at the same time everywhere. When they launch the update today you will receive it then
oh wow… I was late on that one lol
Still waiting here in France…
It’s 6.30 am in Seattle right now (at time of posting), let’s give the team over there a chance to get things sorted out. It’s going to be a few hours yet before they push the update out
still waiting in new York
What I am saying is that because of the different times people are getting it at different points, meaning that people have to wait different lengths of time for example it gets released in Australia at a different day than America.
3pm Eastern in the US is the average for when updates drop. We could all be waiting 5 hours more, probably 6 hours at max.
(I’m always excited and waiting to play the latest Halo update the hour it releases.)

There’s nothing anyone can do about that, even if they gave a time of release. That’s just how time zones work.
