Warzone firefight has shown many reasons on why it is over powered… 1. Banshee’s can kill you under 5 seconds with the regular fire 2. melee is 1 hit on us players 3. the enemies can use U.N.S.C. weapons…
It isn’t supposed to be easy. Its very beatable if you think before you engage.

Let me fix that for you: It’s very beatable if you have enough vehicle reqs. Aside from a basic knowledge of how to use them, thinking has very little to do with it…

Depending on the circumstance thinking can have a lot to do with it. Like knowing what to use and when in addition to changing your strategy if you are unable to access the REQs you need, I would say it requires more thinking then you seem to believe.

In fact, you’re right. It does help a lot to know what reqs work best in a given situation, which is knowledge that you can pretty much only get from playing it a lot and becoming more familiar with the rounds. Thinking and strategizing do play a role in WZFF, don’t get me wrong. I was just speaking more generally, as having a big collection of vehicles seems to be essential to winning, in most cases. At least I think we can both agree that WZFF is more beatable than OP thinks, for whatever reason.
And I’ve been in a situation where nobody could access reqs during the whole match, because of some glitch. Our wits allowed us to make it to round 4 but we simply couldn’t defeat Deacon Pipap in time with only loadouts
Firefight is easy once you get the req usage down. You would be amazed how easy it is to take a wraith from round 2 all the way to the end of round 5.
It it will get easier as you keep unlocking new certifications, growing your collection, and learning the best usage of each REQ for the situation.

Whenever I look up service records, I see that most firefight people have not even finished the campaign on easy mode, so it is obvious, that many play Halo for the MP only (no excuse for people to say campaign was bad if they did not even complete it). If people would play the campaign on at least heroic, then they will do much better in this game mode. I see too many needlessly dying solo against one crawler because they keep playing against an AI crawler as if they would be playing vs another player = insta-death for the player…
Warzone Firefight is definitely a challenging game mode. While it is certainly not impossible to win, it does present moments were the AI does seem to be it a little overpowered and impractical.
A perfect example is when the computer spawns 5 Hunters as part of the final wave. That’s only first half of the boss battle! In a situation like that I find the time limit to be wholly insufficient.

Exactly. What I think people don’t understand is that WZFF is hard yes but all it takes is a simple knowledge on how to play the game in your favor. Including knowing when to pull out certain REQs.

I can see where you get it but the glitches, the enemies getting FULL health back by one watcher, the plasma pistol kicking your -Yoink- in a few shots, the Banshee’s that will kill you under 5 seconds… I can see when it was back then when halo was bad shields but come on guys. Warzone Firefight needs to de-buff a few weapons though I do understand your points guys and these are just my OPINIONS on WZFF

So close, too bad you didn’t finish Deacon Pipap. What was his health at?

Just a little above halfway, if I remember correctly. It’s too bad because I wanted to see how we could do on round 5. If it was “protect the Forerunner relics” then we might have even stood a chance.

It’s supposed to pose a challenge, and reward team work.
They should just decrease the spawn time. I don’t want to wait 30 seconds to spawn in a 5 minute round…I don’t want to spend 30 seconds waiting to spawn ever…

Yeah if you think, I shouldn’t step out to fight those guys cause I will immediately be shot by the 50 deadeye Prometheans, then you have done well.
I think Spawn Time is the killer. Obvi facing 8 Phaetons in a level 3 round is OP but if it didn’t take 20 seconds to respawn it would be a different story.
Its good But i think a couple skull as been activated for sure XD
It took a full AR clip and 1 grenade to take off an Elite officer shield !!!
I think its higher then Legendary difficulty but as a man who loved challenge this is still fun and beatable.
Most of the time, I can win firefight even with 7 other random players. Spawning vehicles helps a lot.

I hate the “protect the something” rounds.

Me too except for the one on Sanctum
