Warzone Firefight tips

When there’s a -Yoink- bunch of prometheans always start with the watchers than actually going for Knights ect. Try not to use mid tier reqs early and save up to get a tank by the 3rd round. Hope this helps some Spartans.

Here is another: If the round is to hard to you, don’t quit… the amount of people who have been leaving the match at round 2… ROUND 2… I am appalled by randoms at time. Unfortunately many of my friends have ditched the game.

I think the most useful tip is to spawn scorpions and wraiths on round 3 and keep using them through round 5. They seem to be one of the only things that can defeat almost any round.

Tank Beats everything.

What I have seen so far, if you can coordinate the attack in the early rounds, you should get the crawlers and grunts first, then the watchers, then one of the bosses and fallback to reload, because there will always be another wave of enemies coming from behind. Then do it again. Once the minions are gone, everyone should jump in the middle of the attack to finish the round. There are instances when no more waves of minor enemies come in once you finish them off and you can concentrate on the bosses more effectively. This method does not always apply, but if you watch closely, you’ll see this pattern of enemy behavior. And remember, before taking out a vehicle, activate the Wheelman mod, it also helps when you jump into another vehicle as the gunner.

The scout hog is amazing in the early rounds. They’re incredibly cheap and a splatter kill bypasses the enemies’ massive health pool. You should be at req level 3 by that point so you can call in a ghost or warthog and do more of the same with the addition of being able to chip away at bosses too. Then for round 3 you’ll be able to use tanks BUT if everyone is using heavy vehicles on certain vehicle boss rounds (i.e. the soldiers in Mantises or the Banshee Raiders) I’ll use a plasma pistol and completely shut down whatever vehicle we’re up against. Then we get steamrolled because our massive vehicles don’t fit into the small base where Wardens Eternal 1, 2, and 3 like to hang out.

Best tip I can give most people. GHOSTS. I cant stress enough how good these are in firefight. As soon as you hit req 3 spawn them. Everything but knights can be splattered with ease. Ultra ghosts are super OP for this game mode. If you can get a team with 4+ ghosts out at once, you can cruise to the last round most of the time.

I love using ghosts to splatter the enemy especially in Sanctum where there is lots of open space. I usually protect my teammates mantis, wraith or tank, or if he’s on foot. I may not be a good shooter, but boy can I drive a ghost.

Yeah the Temple Ghost is amazing on Sanctum, I had so much fun riding that Ghost. Temple ghost is a lot faster than the regular Ghost. Huge air time.

Pray you don’t get spawned into a group of them spawning in.
Pray you don’t get spawned on the opposite and of the map in your tank.
Pray you don’t go against Warden Eternals on the third round.
Pray you don’t get Urban.

The problem with Urban is that the second round is “Defend Forerunner Core” and the req level is not high enough for players to stand a chance against a horde of Prometheans.

I really wish they added the revive system from the Campaign, it would make WZ FF sooo much more fun.

Spawning a tank and driving halfway across the map to do zero damage to anything before the game’s over is really frustrating.

Tip: Try to not get killed too many times, Spartan.

Also, if you get the objective to defend something - DEFEND THE CORE… or a base.

Yessir. I’ve had some great early rounds in the scout hogs.
