I created this topic because I like firefight but it needs improvement, Low lvl reqs don’t help us when some enemies have too much health and tone it down with the AI accuracy I get killed just going into the action without using my req, Then we get spawned away too far from the action, at least let us choose what base we can spawn in, High lvl reqs don’t help us, and we have to resort to using tanks and other high lvl vehicles to take out bosses, also some bosses we’re not given enough time to destroy. Please fix Warzone Firefight and bring balance

Any promethean deffence objective before round 3.
Random, players can’t seem to handle deffend the anything…

The two gold wardens are ok, but the red one spwans protected in middle area.
And he won’t come down. (Usually ends in failure)

Use a forerunner sniper (can’t remember the name) to kill it. The hunter are easy with a wraith.

I know.
Don’t usually get to hunters with enough time left.
as they also don’t spawn immediately after pipap dies.
Timer is short and teams of randoms fail theese objectives.
His face shield has to be weakened for binary to work. (One binary worth of ammo to face shielding isn’t usually enough)(either binary variant.)

Yeah we always seem to lose that battle and we work as a team still we weren’t able to win
You have to use a Sniper Rifle to instantly destroy the grunt mech, aim for the weakspot when it has at least half of it’s health. I seen people insist on it and they actually confirmed it.
Don’t use power weapons (for the most part). They do not hold the value that vehicles hold in FF. Unlimited ammo, ability to splatter small enemies… the damage/REQ value is way higher on vehicles in FF than power weapons. There are only a few scenarios where a power weapon is going to be more helpful than a vehicle, like the one above my post.

its not balanced if its also luck of the draw.
It also depends on who is willing to spend their REQs
90% of the time we seem to loose the wave with the grunt not because we aren’t able to kill him but because the position he has basically you cant shot him with anything because the angle of the mountain you have to get really close to have an angle and get wrecked by the knights and like you said plus the other hunters in that tiny cave with endless crawlers in 5 minutes is a little bit ridiculous
AND its hard to get past the wave where they put the 3 wardens inside the base 70% of the time we loose it even if all the team is using legendary reqs why because the mythic warden in the middle is protected af by all the walls the easiest way i found is assassinating him
BtW does someone know where the goblin weak spot is i have an idea but i dont know where exactly is

How is it balanced if winning the game almost entirely depends on what rounds you happen to get?
Put this for example, every map but Sanctum has 2 choices for Round 5. In this case, Apex 7 has:
- Grunt Mech with 2 Mythic Hunters
- Phantom with Temple WraithYou can see all the responses about how difficult the Grunt Mech Round is. But look how easy the Phantom Round is. One Tank solo can basically clear this in under 5 minutes. Two tanks make this a non-issue in under 3. The worst part isn’t even the bosses, it’s the Banshees that followed.
There’s a reason why Sanctum is widely considered the easiest map for Firefight.
Honestly, the lack of balancing and updates to ff was the last straw for me. Even if they do fix it now I don’t think I’ll come back to it. Its just down right disrespectful how they manage tweaking and bug fixes in halo 5.

The last round (4 hunters I think and a lot of covenant) this round is very difficult because the hunters are hidden in a base and the vehicles cant hit -
In some rounds when u get killed u respawn very far from the objetive

at first its basically the mech suit’s “nose” for lack of a better term. once the nose is busted, spartan laser or binary rifle to the canopy protecting the grunt.
you will also get red hit markers on the needle pod on the mech’s back

Bullet Sponge enemies. - Prometheans swarming an objective (usually Round 3) by teleporting in on top of it. - Respawn Timer and Spawn Mechanics aren’t fun: you’re fighting them more then the actual enemies. - And, not a major problem but having a good 15 seconds wasted waiting for a boss to arrive since the rounds “begun”. Those 15 seconds could be vital!! - Vehicles waste an extra five seconds to spawn in with, then you have to drive to the objective/enemies… so that’s, on round 5, an easy 50 seconds wasted because you died by a cross-mapping Knight.

I was going to make a thread on Decon Pipap simply because this boss is more -Yoink- than the 3 Wardens combined. The reason for can be summed up quite simply: HIS GIANT -Yoinking!- NEEDLER.
That weapon is atrocious for how fast it kills you, for how quickly and accurately it follows you, and for how it wrecks vehicles, even ONI variants instantly. To make matters worse are the infinite knights with pin-point accuracy with two/one-shot kill weapons.
EDIT: Also, his location is almost worse than the base because of that -Yoinking!- slope on the side closest to him, which makes it difficult for tanks or wraiths to get a clear shot without being directly in the line of fire.
