Warzone Firefight still to hard?

I see 343 responded to the backlash of FF being way too hard. The biggest complaint was the long respawn times and they kept it 30 seconds.
Really?
10 seconds is long enough. I don’t know what they’re thinking. Do they not want people to play or play and not win. Either way it totally sucks. They could at least bump the Req speed.
I won’t be playing.

What do you think? Is it still to hard?

It sure feels like it.

I was so hyped when the patch dropped and what was I met with? The same exact thing. Very disappointed with the hot fix.

They really need curb those respawn timers especially as you can be instakilled by certain enemies (a fleet of banshees etc) meaning you spawn in to die and end up missing most of the round. They need to implement a few seconds of spawn protection to allow you to get into cover and reduce the time you are out of action. I have played whole rounds with only 1 or 2 players alive at the same time trying to take on a boss battle.

I dont get a ton of time to play halo and it seems like i spend most of my firefight time respawning and travelling from the spawn point. Lame

I’ve only played one game of firefight since the hotfix and we won easily, but I agree they need to do more changes. I like some of the round changes they did, but for goodness sakes, the respawn time is ridiculous how it exponentially increases each round. I mean I was killing two mythic bosses for over 3 minutes in round 5 with my Phaton, but after destroying one and getting the other over half gone I blew up. Only 46 seconds left, but a respawn of 52 seconds. You know how mad I was when I knew my game was over even though we hadn’t won yet!!! And, I was doing most of the damage!!! Thankfully the rest of my team finished it, but that’s just stupid,a lot can happen in nearly 60 seconds! Even if I couldn’t call in a major REQ, at least that few extra seconds with my dmr and grenades is helping my team. Instead I’m side lined with the spawn time…

Exacly, and today they only gave us 2 minutes to destroy 3!!! yes 3! warden eternal’s, I mean I might be good but I am nowhere near defeating 3 warden eternal’s in 3 minutes. 343 really needs to fix this.

The beta wasn’t like this. This is just stupid.

I’ve tried playing a few Firefights and yeah it’s pretty hard. Why the long respawn times? Combined with spawning a mile away from the action. I’ve yet to win a match.

It’s kind of like 343 didn’t want Firefight but gave it to us to shut up our -Yoinking!- but made it pointlessly hard as an extra -Yoink- you.

I like FF just the way it is.
If you make a bad play and die you will have to wait out the long spawn time and suffer but if you play smart you will be just fine.

But there is still very bad spawns

With bullet sponge enemies who have super weapons and don’t miss I’m not sure that playing smart is even an option some times.

All I know is that they’ve created a game mode where I often ask myself at the beginning of rounds, "Am I willing to face unkillable enemies with load out weapons so that at best I can give a stranger an assist and then die only to end up missing the rest of the round because of the ridiculous respawn times - times which I assumed were there to allow me to pick my reqs carefully, but OH NO, higher level reqs aren’t immediately available because of that other ridiculous mechanic where, despite the desire to sell us reqs, they also wish to make them harder to use. So many mixed messages, so many confounding design decisions, so many rounds I just sit on the side lines and watch because otherwise I feel like I’m being punished for loving the game.

Very true. They need to pump the Req speed on all Warzone games. Especially FF and the respawns are just ridiculous.

Spawn locations are terrible, agreed. But I think its easier than it was. At least I haven’t been shut down in the first round since the update. People need to use the right REQs and stop quitting. Those are the biggest reasons for losing a match. Pull out the big guns (TANK) when they’re needed. Please note that they’re needed in every game. And not just one, but several. USE YOUR REQs!!!

I think if they kept the respawn to 10 seconds and bumped the Req speed that would go a long way.

That patch did absolutely nothing. My first 2 games I won, thinking that it was a lot more easier, until now I come to realize that it’s just the same. The spawn time is the biggest pain. You wait 20 seconds, and bam, as soon as you spawn your taken down by a banshee in less then 1 second. Now you have to wait almost 25 seconds. Then guess what, you spawn in across the map, taking another 20 seconds to get the where you need to go. There literally goes a minute and a half down the drain. They need to cut the spawn time in half, or make it so we don’t spawn on the completely other side. As I was typing this, I played roughly 7 games of FF. Did not win one.

I haven’t won any either.

Its only hard if you cant form effective strategy… Which most Halo players don’t understand anyway.
