Anyone else think that Warzone Firefight respawns are really frustrating? They can take around 40 seconds and really kill my motivation to play. Meanwhile, my teammates are off farming points and I have to stare at a screen for the next 30 seconds. Is there a reason for this?
It’s to punish you for dying. After all, a big part of WZFF revolves around staying alive while completing objectives. Not really much of a challenge if there are no consequences for dying.
The respawn time is indeed annoying, I’ve however accepted it as punishment for dying.
What annoys me is when you eventually respawn and you are miles away from where the fight is taking place. or you REQ a vehicle, and it comes out of a garage at the far side of the map.

You’d think this but mythic/legendary firefight with a TTK of 3 or less seconds, often with crawler camping and enemies spawning behind you really makes this feel not the case.
Frustrating yes, but you need to play smarter.

I was JUST about to say the exact same thing, I get this statement for heroic and…maybe legendary? But not for mythic. Things kill you way too fast in a very unfair manner. basic grunts and elites can destroy stuff like your tanks that go at a snail’s pace like it’s a hunter boss attacking you.

It wouldn’t be a challenge if it were easy.
Ive had plenty of practice with LASO completions and playing Mythic FF. If you’re in a vehicle that can splatter then you shouldn’t have any issues staying alive. If you’re on the ground then grab an Overshield. Other than that just gotta get used to the difficulty

Oh I’m alright with the challenge, It’s just the way it’s done is kinda lazy, not so much the skulls I’m alright with in-cooperating skulls into firefight, that was a staple after all and it let’s me change my play-style, hell even more in this mode with the armor mods and different reqs in general. But sometimes you can get super unlucky and enemies will literally snipe you out of your ghost or warthog despite the protection it has and the angle you were shot from looking a bit dodgy. It’s the AI more than anything, I get they should be more accurate, but sometimes it’s absolutely ridiculous. I’ve used OS’ a couple of times but I find they tend to be a bit of a waste at points. I’m used to the difficulty at this point, or at least I think I am lol. All games I’ve played of mythic last weekend were all wins besides one game, wasn’t too many games about 6 to 8.
Yeah its annoying and spawns u so far away and so much worse in mythic and in mythic u could wait like 30 seconds spawn in a wraith and stupidly go in front of a boss or a group and get killed and its happened to me before really just kills the mood
