The Automatic Spawning is making it far more difficult. Not only do I have to wait to spawn once I do spawn, it takes far too much time to run towards the battle.
It would be far better if I could over-right where it wants to spawn me, and instead of spawning on the opposite side of the map. I would prefer to spawn right near the battle, if I chose to do so… Save an extra 20-30 seconds of running for no reason.
Most of the my failures in Mystic Firefight were do to 50-90 second down time between deaths.
Maybe there is away, but idk how to turn on Manuel spawning.
There never was the option for “Manual Spawning” in Firefight. Once you die, you have to wait out the (increasing) respawn timer before you do so. And for that, heavy vehicles are your best friends to stay alive in Firefight.

Ive won a few mystic firefights already this weekend, and I must say the anti-air covy tank is by far best.

Your spawn distance is determined by the weapons you call in.
If you spawn in with a loadout weapon, you’ll spawn away at a tolerable distance. But if you spawn in with a power weapon / vehicle, you’ll have to travel much further than normal.

There is nothing to “fix”. 343i made this design choice intentionally. The respawn timers and forcing you to run back to the battle are the death consequences they’ve introduced into WZFF, as opposed to a limited number of lives as in the original Firefight.
Yeah, it’s kind of annoying but it was designed this way, so there’s nothing to really ‘fix’. If you want to survive in mythic, do what haxor said and hop in a heavy vehicle, just remember even heavy vehicles in mythic need cover.
