WarZone Firefight on Urban is nearly impossible.

If you don’t know how the map Urban looks like, Here’s the link.
It’s incredibly grueling to even try and beat WarZone Firefight on the map Urban.
I have never seen it happen before.
Ooh and I absolutely know someone has.

All the rounds are tolerable, besides the last. Kill two boss Knights and kill two Mythic Warden Eternals.
When attempting to kill the two Knights, I found the surrounding objects to be a large nuisance.
Especially when driving a Wraith or Scorpion.
After killing the Knights, it’s crucial to take down the banshees that are raining explosives from above.
Whilst taking incoming fire from the center of the map being Emp-ed by the Warden Eternals.

I have killed ONE Warden Eternal at the end only to find the next one with full health and 30 seconds left.

That’s actually the easier of the two endings I’ve seen there. I practically beg for that round 5

What are the others?

I’ve done it plenty of times but I know what u mean especially in the last round dealing with knights who spawn in a place that are hard to get to with vehicles, then dealing with banshees and wraith ultras and knights along with 2 mythic wardens is annoying

3-4 Soldiers on top of the Armory, with surrounding Soldiers and Crawlers having Dying Stars and Razor’s Edge.

Then 2 Wardens & 1 Mythic inside the Home Base with Knights guarding the front

The only ending on Urban I find unbeatable is where they spawn the Warden Eternals in the back of the base. As long as they’re outside, it’s not unbeatable. It’s not easy, but it can be done with a good fireteam.

edit - I actually finished a game on Urban today if I remember correctly.

I have 2/4 wins on Urban and all 4 games were on ff launch. So I don’t think its that bad.

If you wanna really get good damage on the second warden go to the core base and let your scorpion shells get him good. You might even killj him. But watch out for the ultra wraith that spawns.

About half of my WZFF matches come really close, but we lose. If it’s the ‘2 Knights+2 Mythic Wardens’, we kill the Knights and one Warden and the last Warden is alive, but either: A) is at half health, or B) gets killed just seconds after we run out of time. If it’s ‘4 Soldiers+2 Legendary Wardens+1 Mythic Warden’, the 4 Soldiers get splattered by a Banshee. It then takes a minute to finally get past all of the Knights, Soldiers, and Crawlers in front of home base so we can get tanks in. We proceed to kill the Legendary Wardens and the Mythic survives with half health.

I’m SR146. I’ve nearly played 2,000 games of Warzone.

I’ve played Urban 20 times via matchmaking. My winrate with Urban is 0%.

My average winrate with the other WZFF maps is about 53%.

Does that picture look strange?

I mean, surely the law of averages would dictate that I win one game? Surely I cannot have such a drastic effect on:

a) how well my team plays
b) how well my team plays at Urban

Given my winrate on other maps, ‘a’ cannot be true. So it has to be ‘b’, right?

Or perhaps the map is broken?

I don’t know… cough

Anyway, in the vast majority of those games, I’ve made it to round five and failed.

So, perhaps, the map isn’t broken? Perhaps round five is?

Also, pre-empting those who question my usage of the word ‘broken’, even a broken watch (with hands) still tells time twice a day.

This map has gotten into all of our heads. We all assume we’re going to lose the moment we see the map name lol. Don’t remember the round sequences, but I’ve only been able to win whenever Round 5 has all 3 Wardens outside in the open.

I’ve only won 1 game from all the other times I’ve played it

Well done. I envy your ability to explain a point well.

That round it is very hard yes. But i have beatan it once. With a hannibal mantis and very helpfull teamates.

im 1/10 on it. i wont ever play firefight solo again tho doesnt matter what map the afkers ruin it

SO MANY SOILDERS WITH GREAT ACCURACY!!!

(Not a compliment)

If this map comes up in WZF matchmaking, I will literally force quit Halo 5 to queue dodge… especially when trying to hit win of the day. For all the reasons already described, it is nearly impossible to win the 5th round. I would love to play on more varied maps, but the absurd difficulty makes Urban (and Apex 7) hard to swallow.

Urban is much harder than the others. However, I never even see the end round most games, we lose on the “Defend the Forerunner Core” when it’s on the hill on the side of the map.

What makes Urban really impossible is when you fight banshees and one of them flies under the map and you can’t kill it!

I have all the same frustrations with this map as you do OP. The Knights are in some stupid corner and it’s so annoying to try and drive a tank back there and by the time you figure it out you’ve already wasted half the time for that round…
Soo I tried another tactic, getting a banshee. Well that didn’t work either, just couldn’t put enough damage on the knights fast enough.
Then after you kill the Knights you are in a horrible spot to fight the 2 mythic wardens and get pinched in between them.
Somehow I have beaten this level once, but only ONCE out of maybe 10 times.
Definitely needs to be redesigned. I suggest just moving the 2 Knights to the middle of the battlefield or something instead of that corner spawn that no tanks can get too.
