Warzone firefight improvements

So I’ve played about 15 matches of warzone firefight and it was AMAZING. It was an absolute blast. However, there was a few faults in the stone that definitely can and need to be improved upon. Ima talk about the good. And then the bad along with a few ways to improve some of the bad things so let’s get into it.

Some of the great things that I’ve seen are:

  • Lots and lots of enemies, I love it. The more targets the better, and the fact that they keep coming throughout the objective is really nice. - Taking full advantage of the map and all the fighting areas. - Mythic bosses, even though they still can be improved. - A decent amount of wave variety - The leveling speed of reqs feels right - We get our own personal color and look. Really like that.
    These are a few of the really good things I’ve noticed so far. But some of them, and other things I’ve seen, can still be built upon and improved. Some of these include

  • It needs to be more of a challenge. Most of the waves feel like a pushover, like the first wave were u find and kill 75 grunts. I understand that wave one should of course be easy. But not that easy. Three simple ways to improve this are, Make it 150 grunts. Give some of the grunts fuel rods, or make it 100 grunts and 25 jackals. Some easy and simple ways to make a simple wave a little bit more challenging but not unbearable. - One of the biggest complaints if not the biggest is its not long enough. Five waves is a little short. Maybe 10- 12 waves with increasing difficulty - More wave variety. There is a decent amount of wave variety. But not enough to keep a player coming back consistently. In the beta there was about, give or take, 5 different alterations for each indivsual wave. There needs to be more than that to keep players hungry for more and satisfied. Here are a few ideas for some new waves. Wave 4- defend the garage AND the armory. Wave 2- kill 4 promethean soldiers that hijacked warthogs. Can be any of the 3 warthogs picked randomly. Wave 1- kill 1 hunter elder that is defended by 3 covert ops. Along with hordes of grunts and jackals. And I know that the other maps will play differently but those are just some ideas. Variety is what’s going to keep this really good game mode alive. There is so much potential - Vehicles rule this game mode. It’s a little unfair. I think bosses should take a little less damage all around from all vehicles - Mythic boss variety- I have so many ideas for amazing mythic bosses. Maybe a mythic phaeton, has a butt ton of life and has tracking projectiles and super mobile. He is going to kill you a lot. Tartarus returns with the mighty fist of rukt and attacks us, a mythic hijacked Hannibal mantis/ scorpion. The possibilities are absolutely endless. Like I said before variety is going to keep players playing.

  • Enemy variety- I’m pretty sure these are in the game mode already but haven’t seen them but if not then here are some ideas. By enemy variety I mean enemies with different weapons. Like I said earlier with the grunts with fuel rods, elites with sword and stealth, enemies taking our weapons. Variety, variety is the magic word. Make it different every time. - New enemy factions- I know this is a long shot and will probably never happen but it would be soooo cool to have brutes and the flood as 2 more enemy factions in warzone firefight. So much amazing potential that I KNOW the community want and would love to see
    Anyways these are some things I’ve noticed while playing warzone firefight. To summarize- warzone firefight needs to be tuned up. And needs more variety. If these 2 things can be fulfilled, then we could see some amazing PVE action. Let me know your ideas and feedback on warzone firefight:}
