I don’t really complain much with some of the flaws in halo 5 but when you get all the way to the 5th round in warzone firefight with a decent team and can’t kill the mythic bosses because of where they spawn it’s aggravating. We did really good up until the final round then the mythic bosses spawned in a tight area both were knights with incineration cannons. There was no angle to use a tank (thanks 343 for wasting my last oni tank) i then proceeded to use a wasp and at 1st I was doing good at evading but then the rockets suddenly curve way to much and kill me. Rocket launchers did pretty much nothing to them. The only thing I think could have a chance to doing decent damage against them is a wraith. It’s pretty aggravating that nothing worked we didn’t even get them to half health. I’m not complaint that we lost. I’m complaing about how we lost.
The last round in basically every FF match is vehicle dependent. I would pay good money to see a whole team of players take on the final round of even a heroic FF match without using any vehicles. Go ahead, try to take down 4 mythic knights and 2 mythic Wardens without tanks, wraiths, banshees, or even a mantis. Bet you sit watching that respawn screen for 3 out of the 5 minutes of the round.
I miss FF in Reach or even ODST where you didn’t need a whole team in tanks to win a round. They’re to high REQ dependent IMO.
I’m going to guess dark star is the map you’re talking about when it comes to those two knights. I had the same issue as I spawned a hannible tank only to relive I can’t shoot them, had to get out or risk us not winning since two other guys spawned tanks to ;). In all honesty tho this can be s problem or it can be a good thing. It can be a problem as it makes certain vehicles useless if they can’t reach certain areas, but it can be a good thing by encouraging the user if other tools to win. It makes your encounters different. One can be a hard to reach boss that takes more thinking on how to kill since you’re limited on what you can use, one can be out in the open where anything goes.
my issue with firefight is the A.I. Are tough only by Being high damage dealing bullet sponges rather than being smart and differing on how they fight. The spawning still irritates me more than anything as you can spawn all the way across a map and have to run all the way to the action, and paired with long spawn timers that can cost you the game depending on the situation.
Some can go inside and lead them to the right spot, tanks will hit everything inside once that’s done.

I know, I just WISH there was a Firefight in Halo 5 where there was no f*cking bosses. I hate bosses, and I only like fighting the cannon fodder, sue me! I never will try Mythic Firefight, honestly who loves fighting bullet sponge bosses? Also, yea, the design of the core room/building is awful, and the fact that they plant 3 Wardens/ 4 Hunters in there is hilarious.
Typically use the wraiths for skirmish at darkstar cuz you can at least shoot over obstacles, also wraiths are really good for taking out bosses at the home bases. But yea I agree it’s too vehicle dependent. It’s hard to complete without the minimum of at least a ghost and tank/wraith.
These two knights are pretty hard to beat without a good tactic(Doesnt always include a wraith or ghost)
It’s only impossible with the wrong teammates.
Wraith or ghost is my go to for those situations. If the wraith won’t work I will try a ghost. If I go with a weapon it is the plasma caster or fuel rod cannon as they are the best bet.
You mean Mythic WZFF?
It can be very hard when your team don’t know what they are doing
