Warzone Firefight betrayers out of control

I’ve had some very obnoxious experiences recently with betrayers in Warzone FF. Two games in a row I had players following me around trying to kill me instead of playing the game. The second match was particularly annoying, because this one player was trying to splatter me in a Ghost, and I kept dodging him because I didn’t want to die and waste the rare REQ I had equipped. This went on for nearly 3 rounds. Eventually he got me, and then he still kept hunting me down after that, and by the time he’d betrayed me enough times that I got to boot him, the game was almost over, and I was in last place.

Anyone else have experiences like this? It’s very frustrating when all I want to do is play the objective, but I have to worry about another player trying to betray me. Why is there even friendly fire in Warzone FF anyways?

I let them betray me so I can get the boot option as quick as possible. If they (intentionally) betray me a first time, I drop everything I’m doing and focus on getting them to betray me again.

I had seen a similar experience happen to another player in a game of Mythic Warzone Firefight last night (EST time).

I highly recommend spawning in an air vehicle or any vehicle rather than standing out on foot to avoid splatter betrayals the whole match.

Same here. I had to boot a couple of people the other day and I’m seeing far more intentional betrayals all around.

Match quality is going down hill and Xbox Live reporting appears to do nothing.

Two times isn’t necessarily the charm. I’ve seen instances of 4+ team betrayals before getting the boot option.

Perhaps stronger penalties might help. Three minute (or whatever) respawns, etc.

Yeah, but it doesn’t always work, sometimes they betray you several times but stop before you get the option to kick them out of the game, then they betray other players…

I very rarely experience this. But I just block/report and move on. It’s online gaming their will always be a yoink around sometimes.

Yeah it’s a thing this weekend it seems. Thankfully I got the not so smart ones. The ones that betray who ever they can. The smart ones only get you 2 times them move on to the next person…

I used to do it to people who didn’t contribute anything to the team

If anything, hitting another player with a vehicle would only result in the would-be victim being pushed across the map (and not dying). Sure it’ll be annoying, but it should at least prevent the headaches of waiting for the respawn timer.

Yeah, my level 15 account is getting betrayed all the time. I ran someon over once accidentally when they came out of spawn in the intermission… Whoops. But then after that, they were trying to kill me… didn’t boot him tho because we need all the help we can get in mythic warzone.

I rarely encounter that and I play FF daily. My advice would be to try and use a vehicle for the whole game. If someone is bothering you with a Ghost, get a tank and then flip him with your tank round so he rolls out of it and then blow up his Ghost.

I haven’t played in awhile but is that’s what’s happening these days? Reminds me of the good old times. When I was 13 playing halo 3. Yelling into my mic for getting killed for the sniper. Good times

I normally annoy my teammates during the 10 seconds in between rounds. I don’t kill them but I throw plasma grenades on them, ground pound them and nudge them with my vehicle. It’s fun, but killing them is crossing the line.

its a matter of luck at this point

Thankfully haven’t run into any team killers while playing mythic, but i did accidentally kill maybe 1 or 2 people because I was moving too fast with a vehicle and couldn’t stop in time. Sometimes splatters are just too finicky, one second they’ll instakill and and then suddenly you’re just shoving something or somebody across the map.

I have not experienced this yet, but if I were you I would let them TK me and then boot them.

I do this as well. You can also block players after the match to ensure you don’t get matched with them again. I also report every single person who betrays, quits early, or has multiple suicides at the end of each match. It’s always satisfying getting those messages from xbox saying they banned someone you reported for being a terrible teammate.

Bro I got betrayed three times in BTB and it wouldn’t let me boot. It is a big problem but it can sort of be avoided by calling in a vehicle, although it’s a bit of a pain.

People can be serious jerks for no other reason then “they feel like it.” Definitely let them kill you so you can boot them quicker.

Must have been in at least 1 of the games I was in. Had a ghost chasing me around, “Sorry Sack of -Yoink-” killed me 3 times, got the Boot option but screwed it up, but turns out it was to my favor, the next round was “Protect the Generators” “Sorry Sack of -Yoink-” got himself killed trying to splat me around the generators, so I got a free Ghost in almost mint condition from him. To the S.S.S. Thank you Dumb***", I didn’t have to use any of my vehicle Regs that game, was able to effectively use that Ghost the last 3 rounds, Only had 3 deaths (your Betrayals)

on a side note, I usually play with 1 to 3 friends which seems to help with keeping those A**holes out of most games, it seems I get them the most when I solo (last 2 games last night was solo, had no problem till then). We generally play from 9pm to about midnight EST, we sometimes team up in a “Hog” or Tank but most times play our with loose coordination

if it’s clearly intentional I will block and report, but a lot are accidental, I’ve had times where I’ve ran over someone on accident, but those are few and far between.
