I was literally thinking the same thing when I saw what they’re willing to give you for $10. On topic, I’m still excited for FF.
This will be a typical Halo fail! Those poor servers won’t know what hit them. Every time there is something new added to Halo 5, so many players will jump right on top of it and crash the servers. When Ghosts Of Meridian went live, I could play until the next day. I hope it’s not the case this time, I’m dying to play the heck out of this!

If the firefight beta is launching at 1 pm EST (or whenever), then it should stay online until 1 pm Monday in order to account for them taking over half an entire day to release it. It’s only fair… I understand they want to prepare for it to launch but how can they spend half the day still preparing when announcing it will be available on the 14th? I’m really excited for the beta, but also disappointed in the poor preparation. They had plenty of time to do this - they did not have to even announce it would be available on the 14th in the first place, but they chose to. The beta better go on until whichever hour on Monday makes it a full 4 days.
