I think it would have been a better idea if they had found some way of making a version of Warzone Assault that works with the AI. So you fight these oncoming waves that get progressively harder as time goes on and you get closer to your base. So they have to capture garage 1, garage 2 and then destroy your core. Five minutes for each round but with just waves of enemies rushing you. I think the Firefight at the minute is very good. I definitely prefer it over Reach and 4. But I’d still prefer that ODST sense of being over ran by endless waves of enemies which isn’t really what you feel with WZFF at present.

I like the idea, but there was no Firefight in 4.

Yeah Spartan Ops, but it was pretty much still I the same vein as Firefight.

Not quite, they were more like segmented campaign sections. There were a couple of them that were ‘hold out’ style. I actually liked Spartan ops which I know is an unpopular opinion and it would be a good addition as long as it didn’t remove a more traditional firefight mode.
