Warzone firefight: A few changes I want.

I really like Warzone firefight, but there are some things that I want to be changed.

  1. Lower the difficulty. Every time I go and attack a group of enemy’s, I feel im doing a Legendary run on a mission, Im not saying that it should be made to be easy, im just saying that maybe we should be able to fight an elite general or a soldier commando without getting bombarded with over powered storm rifle blasts or light rifle shots.

  2. Give us more time. This ties in to number one, I hate that were only given 6 minuets to take down hard bosses. Its even worse on round five when there are two mythic wardens and four legendary knight bosses.

  3. Change some boss spawn areas. In maps like “raid on APEX” The mythic hunter elders always spawn in the home base, which makes it harder to bring in heavy vehicles. And power weapons will do damage, but most players get killed and loose them/run out of ammo before they even get to the bosses.

  4. Add in some more cool bosses. Fighting the Grunt mech is awesome, because its different from the other bosses, and well, its a grunt trash-talking in mech, what more could you ask for?

  5. And if none of these ideas appeal to you… Go back to the original firefight! Halo Reach brought back ODST’s firefight mode, and made it even better! the feeling of being in a constant “firefight” with enemies is always exciting! wave after wave, clip after clip, you fought hard and never gave up! (hopefully) and thats what I loved about the original firefight! so if this idea appeals most, then please, at least try this.

First off, there’s an Official Firefight Feedback thread. Second…

1.) The difficulty is fine–for the most part. Just use a Scout Warthog to splatter enemies.

2.) You and your team have to pull out REQs. If you don’t, then you won’t win. I almost always have the most kills in a match of Firefight, and when we fail, it’s usually because my teammates were stingy. If you have five Scorpions on the field, then there’s pretty much nothing that you can’t beat in six minutes. However, maybe I’m missing something, as I don’t know which final round you are describing. What map?

3.) Have the heavy vehicles clear the path for the infantry. While I agree that wasting REQs is extremely frustrating, sometimes you have to be patient and just wait for your teammates to give you the room to advance. Waiting 20 seconds versus 30+, it’s only logical. Also, if you’re in a home base and decide to get a vehicle, it will spawn in/above that base. Otherwise, there’s usually a default spawn location when you use REQs stations in, say, an Armory.

4.) I agree 100% here.

5.) I’d like to see a Warzone Firefight Classic mode, and a Warzone Classic mode as well, without the boss refresh (I love the boss refresh, but I also miss the strategies from before).
