What would you guys change about Warzone FF. I wish they would allow you to hijack vehicles like H2. Also I hate almost eliminating the last boss and his health is like almost gone and you run out of time with no over time. Lastly I wish you could pick where to spawn but then again it would suck if I picked the wrong spawn but it’s better than spawning a tank Req next to the final boss and dying instantly. There are also some glitches that I know might never get patched but those weren’t meant to be there anyways.
You can still Hijack. The boss/vehicle just needs to be 15% health or lower before the option is visible. This prevents teams from just insta clearing ghost and wraith rounds. You can do it with Banshees too but it’s not advised as Banshees on Mythic will kill you within 3 frames once they are targeting you.
Use splinter grenades or plasma pistols to temporarily disable vehicles. If you disable a vehicle 4 times in a row, it causes the driver to exit the vehicle. Which makes them vulnerable to assassination or being ran over. Alternatively, you can also use vehicles such as the Warthog or Wraith to ram ghosts to flip them upside down and make the driver exit.
Also, Warzone Firefight will never change. The game is dead from a development and maintenance standpoint. Here’s to hoping Infinite will be better!
I just feel like if you could hijack in halo 3 ODST FF then you know… In what situation made by the UNSC would Spartans not be able to hijack simulation or not.
Also what’s up with invincible phantoms? That ruins H5 FF to me. You can’t shoot the main cannon off like in older halos and the guys on the side instant kill you and for that reason they aren’t even worth shooting at.

I know it’s jarring but it is what it is. It’s why Halo 5 was a flop of a game. 343 broke or changed many mechanics that were well established through the Halo universe. Halo 5 is sealed. It will never be updated, patched or changed. It’s developmentally dead. If you’re not enjoying it, my best advice is not to play it.

They should be focusing on their next game anyways. Updating H5 would take time and money away from infinite. So I’m not looking forward to any H5 update anytime soon.
I like many features in the H5 and have fun playing the game. I also enjoy complaining about the features that I would have changed. With enough player feedback 343 could take notice of what players think so when they implement features into their next game they can have a great game built around what the fans are looking for. As a halo fan I want them to make a good halo game so I voice my opinion in detail.
- Credit for kills. I get that the base Warzone mode was PvP and they had to make it competitive, but if I spend a bunch of time getting a boss down to 1/4 health on my own, and then my team swoops in to back me up there is a good change I won’t get credit unless I was doing constant damage. WZFF should not be using the same model for kill credit. (This goes double for knocking a Goblin canopy shield down and not getting credit when someone else gets the headshot). - Dropships need to be destroyable, or if they are invincible the offensive weapons need to be toned down. - Defense objectives need to be marked during intermission so that your team can be in position, or have a short cooldown before enemies spawn in. - Quite a few weapons need to be balanced for viability. There are quite a few good reqs that I basically never touch because they are useless against AI.I’m sure that I have thought of other things, but these are what come to mind currently.

Oh yeah the boss take down things annoying. I would take down almost all the life of a boss for a teammate to finish him and I get no take down credit. I’m always glad I helped but really? I guess it’s like a normal assist where it has to be within a time frame but come on this enemy is different they have visible health bars!

Truly? You actually can hijack boss vehicles, at least under those circumstances!? I’m really tempted to try that, and I would, if the game in question was not Halo 5. But what about non boss vehicles? For Wraiths specifically, when I go within hijacking distance of one, the prompt to hijack does show up, but it never works. And it is very rare that other vehicles, namely Ghosts, can be hijacked. The prompt doesn’t even appear. I haven’t played in a while and my memory is fuzzy, so right now I can only recall one occasion where it is possible to hijack Ghosts, and that is during one of the final rounds on Apex 7 where non boss Ghost Ultras manned by Soldiers occasionally spawn in pairs and can be hijacked, even at full durability.
I think you can hijack back if a player got hijacked by an enemy. I also dislike the fact that you can’t shoot enemies out of their vehicles like ghost, the ghost just blows up so you can’t use it… really 343? Also if one of those heavier solders that hold those cannon turret things spawn in vehicles and get killed they drop their can cannon turret thing.
I jumped on pretty late (as in a couple months ago) and from what I’ve played, I like it, but I’m not into how it’s replaced the standard firefight mode. Microsoft/343 at that time seemed to want to turn all of Halo into a competition with the crazy high scores and these reqs and such. You can’t really just chill out and kill enemies at your own pace without feeling like you’re a weak player compared to the higher guys unless you use some kind of vehicle. To be fair, the rounds are pretty short also. It’s super rare but there’s been a few times where we lost three/four rounds in because the rounds were so quick and the bosses were too tough to take down in time. I love harder difficulties so it’s more of a complaint about convenience. Also sucks when I empty weapons into a boss only to not get credit for it just because the other guy shooting at it had better reqs than me.
I think a mode where you are in one area and take on waves of enemies that attack you rather than you going out and attacking them would be sweet. Much like the original firefight.
