Warzone FF too hard and too easy?

here of the forums you see people complaining about warzone firefight being too hard, sometimes too easy. But here is what I think on the subject, I think warzone firefight is both, to hard AND too easy. Now you’re probably scratching your head thinking, what the hell is this guy talking about? Well let me explain.

We can all agree that most warzone games are challenging if people don’t use their REQs, so that’s most of the time. But there are also those map where your whole team can use scorpions, wraiths, banshees, wasps, anything, but still come out with a loss. I’m talking about the maps Urban and Raid on Apex 7. These maps are entirely too hard and need a wave update desperately. I have yet to win a warzone game on Urban and only have a 9% win rate on Raid on apex seven with just 2 wins.

Now you may be thinking, well then how is it too easy? Well my answer is because on 2 maps, the waves are pretty much push overs, I am of course talking about Attack on Sanctum and Escape From the Arc. These maps can be won with ease with maybe a Scorpio or 2 and an occasional banshee. When I play these maps I feel like I rarely have to use up any of my REQs. I currently have a 70% win rate on Attack on Sanctum and a 40.7% win rate on Escape From the Arc. I know Escape From the Arc was the only map shown in the beta and people complained about it being too hard, but I feel like it was hit too hard with the easy hammer. Now Escape From the Arc feels like you can wipe the game when you use some of the right REQs.

That’s all I have to say, thanks for reading and tell me if you agree that all warzone maps maybe need a bit of tweaking each.

Urban, 21 games completed/ 2 victories. I gave up on FF until something is done about the abysmal failure rates on certain maps.

So broken. Can’t believe nothing has changed since that hotfix. That hotfix barely did anything anyhow.

You ever think, maybe, it’s just some players?

I feel like wzff is fine, honestly, sure some things can be tweaked but I think it’s fine.

And I’m sure there are some who would agree with me.

So do you believe that the last wave of Raid on Apex 7 with the grunt mech is just as hard as the final wave on Escape from the Arcs final wave with the 4 soldier bosses in the garage and then the 2 knights and mythic warden boss? Because to me they are very different as far as difficulty goes, it is nearly impossible to destroy the grunt mech on apex because of the swarms of knights garding the mech with incineration cannaons. While on Arc, you can easily take out the soldier bosses with loadout weapons and then go and kill the warden and knights with one scorpion/wraith and have everyone else shooting out the infantry and tickling the bosses. That’s what I’m talking about in this post, I think that some waves (especially final waves) need tweaks because they are simply too hard or too easy, with or without the proper REQs

I did mention “tweaks” didn’t I? The grunt jockey boss can have a few less knights, but the jockey is actually pretty easy to kill. Focus fire his shield, headshot.

Urban final wave 2 wardens. A few tanks and a mantis and the round is over. You just gotta know how to kill the wardens and it’s less impossible but not too easy.

The map raid on apex on round 5 has a grunt mech and two hunter but why would they put the grant mech first why can’t it be the hunter first then the grunt mech

Urban is the bane of my existence. I hate that map with such a furry that I pretty much count it as a loss every time I play it. It’s not even that it’s challenging! It’s damn near impossible! The layout limits where you can take a Scorpion with any efficiency the moment you come out of the spawn. I don’t know how many times I’ve been immediately boarded and destroyed straight out of the gate. The “Protect” rounds are frustrating at best. Urban is probably my least favorite map in all of Halo history.
