I noticed this too. My KD recently jumped from a 1.13 to a 1.285. I thought it may be because they started counting AI and it looks like I’m right. Glad to see it.

In some ways this is a good thing, but the KD should be based on what types of enemies you kill, i.e. grunts and crawlers being lowest teir, jackals and watchers being kid teir, and elites and soldiers being second to highest teir, with bosses being worth a full kill as the highest teir. If this is already how it works, then it’s ok I suppose.
Don’t get your hopes up too much, maybe in the next update, they’ll revert back to the previous K/D formula, and not include AI kills from Warzone… in the meantime, have fun farming AI kills on Firefight
