Warzone FF getting on my nerves lately

My own teammates killing me with their own vehicle such as the ghost, gungoose, Mongoose, and Warthogs.

I had a match when one of teammates killed another, it started splatter showdown where everyone had land vehicles and wouldn’t get out of it until someone else did.

I mean this -Yoink- has to stop eventually
I’m not in the driver’s way but they run me over for fun of it but I understand if it’s an accident. The betrayal system needs to act as soon as the incident happens.

Then what happens if you run someone over by accident and the betrayal system acts right there?

People would be right back here complaining that its now too strict.

One way would be to modify the system so it checks how frequent the teamkillings are. Such as two guys splattered teammates three times. One guy did it over the course of, Idk, 15-20 minutes? Those could be seen as accidents, where as the other guy had committed the same three kills within two minutes, which would be very hard to dismiss as a simple accident.

Either way, it’s something we are going to have to live with, intentional or accident.

Splatter showdown… Hahaha… Awesome… Love it… You are going to get games like that from time to time. Chill out some. It’s just firefight it’s supposed to be a social fun time.

Most people wouldn’t consider getting team killed as social fun time. There has always been an obvious solution here, uninstall H5 and play any prior Halo to have fun.

When this happens I report the player right away & comment vehicle abuse.

Is there away to finish off my warden requirements?

It’s really annoying and the rules should be stricter for it but it’s happened where I accidentally ran someone over so having a boot right off the bat would be to strict. I think it should be where you have 1 or two strikes in a game and after that they could get booted. I totally feel your pain though as it happens to me too a lot and it gets very frustrating and it needs to be addressed.

Been there many times.

Would a CSGO overwatch style of system be too difficult to implement? This system offers other players the ability to watch suspicious players games and send reports to somebody at valve.

(I’m not entirely sure how the system works)

Basically
regular players report suspect
Suspect’s games get watched
Watchers send reports to a higher power

This might be a bit overkill since it would be used for mostly griefers who may get like a 10 minute ban or something where as the system is used for hackers and cheaters, which i suppose taking advantage of the double shot glitch is kinda cheating…

Just my thoughts

I don’t know I play a lot of firefight to grind xp and very rare I come across players like this.

If you get betrayed in WZFF you should re-spawn in quicker than the round spawn timer.

If I deem it flagrant, I report it post game. If it get the option to boot, I will boot the player for carelessness.

Social doesn’t mean “anything goes”. It’s still annoying to get betrayed in social games. There may be looser matchmaking and no public ranks, but that doesn’t mean social games shouldn’t be played correctly/as intended.

If you want to mess around aimlessly, set up a custom game.

Well as I posted later in the thread I play a ton of firefight and very rarely come across this. I think some are a bit unrealistic when it comes to online games. Not every game is going to be played by the rules or their standards of how the game should be played. You will occasionally come across yoinks in online gaming.

I don’t pay any attention to players like that. I ignore them, play the objective and boot them when the prompt shows up.

I’ve seen teammates deliberately run over other teammates, best thing is to avoid them whenever possible.

I splattered two people yesterday after the game ended and I got booted. Still worked out for me though because the game counted so I got all my XP and I didn’t have to wait for the ending cinematics.

i play a lot of FFWZ and never got a match like you say. im not saying this is a solution but try to change from balanced to concentrated or expanded.

Lucky! I get them in the form of Banshee pilots a lot.
