So I can’t see an official thread for this, but there probably should be one
I’ve encountered my first problem, got thrown into a game at the end of round 2, round three comes and the team needs to take down some banshee raiders, I’ve been given level 1 reqs, there is literally nothing I can do to help. Please make it so if you are thrown into a game late that you are given a decent req level to actually make a difference. Regular wazone awards you a higher req level when you join late.
A Promethean mantis spawned IN the garage on sanctum. I’m really hoping thats a glitch, because if not its virtually impossible to take down with the extended re spawn times, having spent req allowance on a tank to take out the other mantis’ you don’t have enough req allowance left to actually get a power weapon to take out the mantis in the garage
Please accelerate how fast you go up req levels or reduce the respawn times

It would like pop half way out then it would just stay in that home base piping. But I’m sure there will be all sorts of weird glitches to start with
Warzone firefight is way too difficult. I have played 5 games and lost everyone game on round 3 or before. The beta was amazing and if they had left it that way it would be fine. But no they still managed to -Yoink- it it up. I have really tried giving 343 the benefit of the doubt and i thought warzone firefight would be amazing but its not fun and rage inducing

I agree with you to be honest, it seems incredibly difficult, I like a challenge but they went over board. It’s not too fun if you never win. I love firefight but after two games of H5’s incarnation I’ve already moved on to playing something else, I will try again later and hopefully things will have improved

Yep, really hoping its just some minor launch issues, as it stands I was happier with the beta
Had a couple instances where a Hunter or a Knight would shoot me with their weapon before turning to face me. Kind of annoying.
The spawn times are definitely absurd after wave three, especially when it takes a liking to spawning you in front of allied vehicles or within firing range of snipers or a boss.
Also, not a Firefight thing, but Warden Eternal is still an unfun bag of one-hit abilities and HP. Nearly every game that I’ve lost has been because we’re all shelling the crap out of the Wardens Eternal and they just refuse to take enough damage fast enough to die before we time out.
Other than that, I’m mostly enjoying myself, though the server keeps peeing itself.
So far I’ve been loving how Firefight plays out. It’s great having those down to the wire, ten-seconds-to-kill-the-last-of-four-bosses moments.
The only problem that I’ve experienced is that the banshees are a tad too powerful, I spawned in a sword wraith with wheelman perk on and was taken down with two banshee bombs. Immediately after, upon respawn, I get strafed by another banshee and die the second I realize what’s happening.
So I think the banshees’ damage could be toned down a bit, but the rest of Firefight has been living up to expectations.
I have had tons of fun. Most games ending in wave 3… won 2 so far. But man I would love to be able to use alot more reqs. And spawn timers in last 2 rounds are painfull. And spawn points seem to be on other side of map.

I’ve not got past round 4, so I can’t even begin to imagine how bad round 5 is. I’m really hoping 343 listen to us and tweak it
Decrease respawn timers. Round 5 should have no more than a 15 second respawn timer. - Enemies are way too accurate. If you find yourself caught amongst even a couple grunts, they can easily take you out. Decrease enemy accuracy slightly - Spawn locations are usually pretty far away from where the action is happening. Move the spawn locations closer to your teammates and closer to the fight. As it stands right now, a 30 second respawn timer plus a nice jog across the map after a death is not much fun. - During a round, enemy placement needs to be shown as a waypoint. I’ve seen teammates just wander around looking for the enemy because there’s no location specified. It’s a big map; they could be anywhere. Please point us in the right direction, especially if we’re on the clock.
I already have every new REQ. I’ve managed to use the temple banshee and the halo 2 beam rifle.
But what I have noticed is that THERE IS NO VEHICLE SELECTION SLOT FOR THE WASP. Everything else is there. just not the wasp. WTF that was the thing I was looking forward to the most. Hopefully it will be live by 2 pm.
