Warzone Feedback

This post is for WZ feedback. My 2 main things I would like improved is req system & Boss kills.

  1. I am fine with the cards but it’s the pace. They are not supposed to make the game unbalanced but I have been in several games were the other team reached 6 and had 2 tanks and other high stuff on the field. My team never got higher than 4. This doesn’t feel like balance and getting beat bad only to have it get worse with no way to fight back is not fun. Instead it should just be on a timer.

  2. I am also feeling unhappy about boss fights. One example is my team had 6 gamut a including a tank and a banshee and did 99% damage only to have 1, just 1 guy come in and land a couple of BR shots on him and get the points. This makes Warzone aggravating and again feel unbalanced. My idea would be to split the points based on damage. For example if a boss was 100 pts my team get 75% of damage and the other 25% then75 pts for my team. This would give even more incentive for more players to try and go after the AI.

if anyone else has suggestions I’d love to hear it. Other than that I like Warzone a lot and the close battles are epic

I’d honestly just like to see more AI around the battlefield. That’s really my only suggestion. Lol

  1. Agree that the boss’s points should be split based on damage dealt by teams with a bonus for last shot.

  2. The timer would be a good idea, however, I think it should be linked to holding spawn points, hold one spawn point and you get a % each second, with each level taking more time overall (level 1 taking 1000 points, level 2 taking 2000, etc…), hold more than one spawn point and you get additional % each second. *Holding your own starting base would be the first slow timer. Right now, I think the level increases are based on both team and personal kills, I haven’t quite figured out the calculations.

  3. I like that the core defense prompts when the other team holds all spawn points, but this adds more to frustration than excitement for the teams. The only way for the losing team to come back is to escape their surrounded base and retake a spawn point or wander until they find AI to kill for points. I think because the winning team gets the advantage of holding all 3 spawn points their core should also be vulnerable, forcing them to split their priorities between core, spawns, and AI.

  4. And, I think AI opportunities could be really improved if every 5 minutes you had waves that come in trying to attack all spawn points. That way it will feel like there is actually an attempt by non-humans to take control of the battle rather than sacrificing a few dudes by teleporting/transporting them in for slaughter.

My biggest gripe so far, is that mic notifications for other players don’t consistently show up and it can be very frustrating to have to listen to other people who forget or don’t care their mic might be impacting someone else’s game experience.

The only three things I have with Warzone and that is;

  • Getting a Req level of 7,8 or 9 is ridiculous considering how it happens in the last 40 seconds. - Be nice if there was more AI - If we had a party system so you know where your squad is at all times - It’s fine in Arena but when the maps are this big, communication can be a trouble.

Just had the boss thing happen a couple times yesterday. My team did all the damage just to have the other team apparently get the final -Yoink- in and take the kill. Points based on damage would be a awesome change.
