Does anyone else think that having to be level 8 in warzone is a bit high to be able to use the DMR. In Warzone assault matches I’ve never made it past 7 and thats when I’m playing out of my mind on average I get to 5 in assault. But in regular warzone matches i usually get the dmr just in time for the match to end.
There are a lot of questionable decisions made about which weapons to make available at which level, and about which weapons unlock permanently as load out weapons, and about how long it takes for that to happen. But I have to think that they put some thought into the system and that these decisions are not arbitrary. I think that they intend for the first three minutes of every match to be AR/magnum, the next ten to be completely dominated by the BR, and the last seven to be a -Yoink- storm of vehicles and power weapons. It isn’t the way I’d’ve done it, but I’ll give them some leeway here. It won’t be so annoying a few months down the road when we’ve all unlocked all the load out guns.
The DMR is OP if you’re good with it though, maybe a REQ level of 5/6. Warzone Assault typically goes to fast to get REQ levels, you’d use it in the normal Warzone playlist

We aren’t always lucky enough to earn the base versions
Great… so the one gun I desperately want from a req pack is at base cost a lvl 6 req… -Yoink- that. Yet I can start with the pistol?

It has a larger range and fires single bursts that can be more easily controlled. I’d say it’s better than the BR in every way.

Also: if you manage to unlock the “Long Shot Battle Riffle,” this goes live at req level 5 - it has the range of the DMR but still has the 4-shot-kill of a BR. It’s the balls.
