Weapons need a longer despawn time. When people kill me and my teammates or the other team don’t notice I have a power weapon and it despawns 7 seconds later, I feel like it’s a waste of a good REQ.

Nature of the beast, what should that weapon just sit there and have a fingerprint reader so only you can respawn/grab it?
I do think the weapons need more object permanence. It sucks that it’s basically impossible to respawn/get your own weapon. Even when playing with friends I can tell them where I died/wait to not respawn and the weapon disappears before my body. Also I’d like it if the game ends and I have a new req or even partly used one that I get the card back when the game ends. It shows me on the drop ship carrying the damn SAW on my back! Another annoying one is spawning with a tank and the game ends literally as it’s spawning/before you can even gain control cause someone got a quick Warden kill.

At most they should slightly extend the despawn time. Straight refunds would make it so there’s no real reason to be careful with your life and weapon – if you die you’d just get it right back. A slightly extended despawn time would allow you a slim chance to recover your weapon, but not so much that the match becomes flooded with power weapons.
This game’s horribad spawns only compound the issue…
The closest thing to a workaround that you have is to spawn without any power weapons, and then make your way to a secured Req station and then order the gun. Spawning with something special is basically asking RNGesus to bring down his wrath upon you.
Power weapons not despawning almost instantly would help. If they’re worried about the impact on performance, just make the loadout weapons and grenades disappear faster in exchange. Since loadout weapons are vastly more common than power weps, this should theoretically have an actual slight increase in performance (or at worst no visible difference at all).

Okay well the post has always been about weapon despawn times in Warzone anyway but if it offends you that’s none of my business.
Ok Weapon Despawn times in Warzone… Yeah if you die your weapon is gone I like that 343, Longer Despawn time i dislike that would flood the maps with power weapons. Perfect how it is in my opinion seems you guys put a lot of thought into how you wanted your game to be. Great job don’t change the game to make 1 person happy.

I love how you’re trying to make this post about me being unhappy but I’d just want to point out a lot of people have these kinds of issues. I was just more willing to bring it up.
Pretty sure OP is saying weaps need longer despawn times so ANYONE (friend/foe) can pick it up. Most of you are inaccurately criticizing thinking they meant so only THEY could respawn and pick it back up…
Everyone needs to just BACK UP (Sarcasm).
I have to admit, it is pretty agravating to kill someone using a good REQ only to have it despawn as u run up to try and take it. Doesn’t bother me that much tho, just a bit annoying!
