Why is Warzone not war? Imagine two companies challenging each other not to a 4 v 4, but a full on, all out, battle with no score or time limit. You could adjust the settings, so that you could focus the game on what you want, whether for practice or gameplay. It might be late for halo 5, but 343 has proven that they may still be willing to add in new features, and I don’t see how adding warzone to custom games would in any way be a negative to the game.
I believe the main reason that 343 hasn’t officially implemented any form of Warzone Custom Games is that Warzone and all of its variants are directly tied to the Requisition system, which makes it kinda weird to work with for Custom Games.

That’s probably true, but why would 343 object to people using their reqs. It just increases the probability that they will try and get more. They could also adjust the settings so that it doesn’t affect your actual req pool if you don’t want it to, giving a chance to experiment.

343 likely wouldn’t object to people using their own REQs, but the issue is how the REQ system would work in a Custom Game. All REQ collection-related stuff relies on Halo 5’s servers, as far as I can tell. Making it so a Custom Game server has to link with whatever stores REQ/WZ information for an account might not be very practical for 343 to add, especially this late in Halo 5’s lifespan.
