So my idea is a brand new feature of Warzone called “Warzone Cammanders” it would be an add on to the gameplay where one person from each team would be the commander. The commander would not be able to play in battle, they would have a birds eye view over everything that happens on the map. They would also have a list on the right of everything that will happen so it would say something like “warden eternal spawn at 15min” so that the commander could prepare the team for bosses. The commander could also place waypoints on what the team should attack. So if the commander orders an attack on spire all the Spartans would get a voice clip from palmer saying to attack it, if the base is attacked the commander and all Spartans get a little xp for working as a team. There could also be “ultra reqs” that would give the whole team req level 4 or over shields for 15 seconds. This could really be a game changer for Warzone and for me at least would make it a ton of fun, see you on the battlefield
Its a good idea that never really works out in regular matchmaking.
Battlefield has this idea already but it rarely proves effective.
Either theres an idiot giving stupid orders and waypoints and/or people just ignore it
Thats also if there even is someone who wants to be the commander
This idea only works in organised team play and they removed 12 man teams from warzone.
Good idea again, just needs to find a way to fit in to halos matchmaking.
The commander aspect would work perfectly for Warzone Warlords if implemented correctly; the fireteam leader would be the commander in question.
I’d love it. I really liked being the commander in Battlefield.
Yeah the idea would really need some tuning and some devs to iron out the details of it, but I just thought it would be a good way to take a break from the whole fps thing and look at warzone in a different way
It’s like that mode that was in battlefield 4 for a bit. This would be a fun and interesting feature that sounds like it could work great with a companion app or as previously mentioned by HaXoR73, in Warzone Warlords.
My one issue with warlords is that you have to have a 12 person fireteam and not everyone can do that, so devs would put in work to a mode that only a tiny number of people could access
