Warzone Charity Day 2.0 25/26 December 2016

All right Ladies, Gentleman, Spartans, and Sanghelli… I (and many others on this forum) am in the envious position of having everything unlocked and once everything is unlocked most requisitions become bountiful and almost never ending in supply. There are new players out there and other players who simply don’t have the bounty I (we) have access to. So my proposal (and one I intend to complete even if only I’m doing it) is that on Sunday, 25 December 2016 or Monday, 26 December 2016 if you see one of these new players on your team; we take a specific course of action. Get their attention…call them over to a req station and spawn something for them. It could be an open hand, a blaze of glory, or a mantis the choice is yours (and mine.) Let’s make Halo 5 a bit more inviting to the people just starting out even if it’s just for one day. A message or a microphone would probably benefit the task.

Great idea! I have over 100 Blaze of Glorys and Answers each so I have more than enough to spare

Let’s get this to the popular section so more people know about this!

This is a really good and nice idea. So, maybe I should stop selling my spare req’s or try be a better person. Because, I’m kind of selfish with my reqs (like refusing to spawn a warthog)

This is a really cool and nice idea. I have shared many snipers before. It feels good to help another player out. You can also retrieve it for them if they drop it or die so that nobody else gets it.

Only the problem I see how to get their attention.
Any specific tipps?

You are a kind, generous, and knowledgeable person. I like your idea. If I’m on then, I will do just that!

Using a mic or sending a message seems the easiest way. You could try shooting them and shooting where you want them to go, but that might be misinterpreted. Either way if I walk up to an SR 4 in a mantis and hop out, I’m sure he or she will get the drift.

Thanks buddy. I’ll take your Phaetons.

How do you drop weapons? I haven’t done it in ages. If I’m in a REQ station and spawn a sniper in my slot 2, and then spawn a loadout weapon in my slot 2, does the sniper fall to the ground or disappear instantly?

Fall to the ground.

If I still played warzone I would totally be on board for this, even though I haven’t unlocked everything.

Nice idea Hermit.

Only problem?

How can you tell if someone is a low/lower SR player - its not like you can see their rank in the lobby or the match.

You don’t actually need to see someone’s SR to tell they are new to the game. Even then you tend to get matched with the same people when you don’t back out of a search, so if you see an SR 28 in the post match screen there is a good chance he or she will be in your next game.

It drops to the ground and you or anyone else can pick it up.

You’re only one level behind me. Besides I have no Phaetons atm.

True. I’m trying to finish off my vehicle commendations, and I know Phaeton will be last.

I already do this a lot in WZFF. Usually to get a better REQ, or to give teammates a test drive/gunning of a req I spawned in.
I’m not going to leave a wraith behind when it can be used as more firepower, especially in WZA/WZFF where better/more firepower is usually the key towards winning.

It will fall to the ground, usually despawning within 20-30 seconds if nobody picks up the weapon. Only Loadout weapons disappear instantly.
To drop it, just go to a req station, select a loadout weapon (Or any weapon that isn’t a turret) and replace the weapon you want to drop with whatever other weapon you want to spawn in.

This is a good idea, il participate in firefight where I feel this would be more fitting.

I now have a single Phaeton. If we play together Saturday and I hit 8 I’ll let you have it. I’m awesome that way.

Well, the idea is to be more inviting to the new players, but it can help you win. One ghost can make all the difference.

I don’t see any reason to limit it to regular warzone (Though that’s mostly what I play.) WZA and WZFF are going to have a reasonable share of new players as well.

This seems like a great idea. I have quite a few Mantis’s to spare.

I’ll be on tomorrow. I’ll take part in this as well.

This is an amazing idea.
