Warzone carbine

Why is the carbine a power weapon and not a regular load out weapon in warzone? I love the carbine

I think it’s because it isn’t a UNSC weapon.

Yep, oddly enough, only UNSC weapons are loadout weapons now. Then again, it makes sense as technically Warzone is a simulation and they should be training spartans to master UNSC weaponry. Although Covenant and Promethean weapons were loadout weapons back in Halo 4.

They definitely would. They’re super fun.

Also, Vale uses a plasma pistol instead of a mgnum. I think they do it because then they couldn’t have variants and just imagine the power of the storm rifle and plasma pistol in warzone shudders.

I know. I just had to get that off my chest though. I do like all of the carbine reqs.

What about a war zone mix … like one game the loadouts are covenant, next game promethians. Perhaps on rare games all basic weapons are default loadouts .

Agree 100%. This drives me crazy.

See if Elites were playable it would be a loadout for them. And then Soldiers and Brutes would be nice too with their own loadouts.

UNSC=Sangheili=Promethean/Forerunner=Brute

AR=Storm=H5 Suppressor=Spiker
BR=Carbine=H4 Lightrifle=Some new Brute weapon for mid to long range
DMR=Needle rifle=H5 lightrifle=Some new weapon for long range
SMG=Plasma rifle (give it a small knockback and higher damage to match kill times)=H4 suppressor=Brute plasma rifle
Magnum=Plasma pistol=H5 Boltshot=Mauler

Then have variants like the H2 BR
AR—Reach AR (thinner, could have slight speed boost), CE AR (Insane recoil with less damage than a normal AR but more than SMG)
DMR—Reach DMR (Either purely cosmetic or increased reload speed with higher bloom rate per shot)
SMG—H2-3 SMG (Faster reload, less accuracy)
Magnum—H2 magnum (high fire rate, fast reload low-ish damage) H3 magnum (could kill like the CE magnum but much lower fire rate and 4 instead of 3)

Storm Rifle—Plasma Repeater (can be manually vented, essentially fire forever)
Plasma Pistol—H1-3 (extremely high fire rate, really low damage), Reach-4 (moderate fire rate, slower charge but longer EMP on vehicles), Needle pistol (according to the wiki the Needle Pistol works like the needle rifle but probably higher fire rate, should be balanced to suite kill times)
Carbine—H3 carbine (could kill like the CE magnum but obviously many more shots)
Plasma rifle— The Reach needler (shh hear me out, it required the shield to be broken before it could supercombine, had a high fire rate and great homing ability, with thrusters on everyone its not going to be overpowered)

Don’t really have a lot of brute specific weapons but I’m there’s loads of fan weapons they could get inspiration from?

For the foreunner stuff they’ll need mostly cosmetic changes.
H4 Suppressor— Shorter, little more ammo, different but similar smart scope animation
Bolshot— Bring back the H4 boltshot but heavily reduce the charge damage and range and increase normal fire damage by a little, add very slight tracking. keep its fire rate. have it so the ammo left in the weapon determines the damage of the charge, normal charge uses up five but holding it longer adds another round and increases the damage. if you have less than five rounds you cannot charge it.
H4 light rifle, modify the barrel so its taller and has three holes at the tip, when scoping barrel lengthens and two holes merge into the third

Cause carbine early game trumps the BR and magnum at long ranges. Long range power houses usually dont come into play until mid to late game (loadout wise)

Carbine FTW! I love the original carbine, usually one of the first REQs I pop when I get level 3.

Halo 4…

Maybe because the carbine is a descoping machine compared to the unsc precision weapons

The Carbine pops shields from long range too well to be a loadout weapon.

The Carbine is an excellent weapon early on, so maybe balancing reasons…?

I agree that the carbon should be added as a custom loadout but then there would be way too many headshots everywhere
