Warzone Capture Point System Broken

The Warzone capture point system is broken. If 1 person is on a capture point, it prevents the other team from capping, even if the other team’s numbers is higher.

Please make it like Battlefield Capture points where numbers do matter in a capture scenario. Some of these capture points are very big with tons of nooks and crannies to hide in.

March on Stormbreak is the perfect example where whoever captures the middle forge point wins the game 98% of the time. Spawn times are 10 seconds, making it easy for a team to hold a point with having very little resources committed to holding it.

I agree. It seems like every game of Warzone Assault I go into is me attack on the March on Stormbreak map. It is near impossible to capture that first base, the Fortress. People can spawn in their base using vehicles REQ cards, negating the consequence of dying. There are so many nooks and crannies that even if you do think you’ve killed everyone in the base there is still one person hiding in a tiny little room on the bottom, and by the time you actually find them the rest of his team is back. There is an endless loop of this until you lose the game. EVERY TIME. It’s the stupidest thing in the game IMO. Like how did this get through development? There are so many glaring issues with this map and gametype that it blows my mind it got into the final product.

What I would recommend they do is, like you said, make it so that you have to have a majority of people in a base to capture it. It’s a really simple fix.

Ahhh fortress is a b**** to cap!!! I don’t know about being broken but it def makes it harder with “dumb” team mates. Once most of the team is at level 3 as long as at least 3 ppl are covering the giant vehicle entrance it’s a joke.

When is everyone is tossing grenades at that first door the lower level gets overrun and that’s when the camping starts.

they are back in 10 seconds. you basically have 10 seconds to kill a team of X (where X is the number of defenders) and that’s if you can even find them, the cap is big and has 3 different verticle levels… Basement, Ramp, Main Platform, with tons of cover. and by time time you find the 8th person, the first defender you killed is back up and spawned right into a contested area.

What did you expect its 343. They suck! Halo is dead. This game has countless problems - spawns, REQ system, matchmaking, no region select, warzone point system ( bases are almost irrelevant to boss kills/capture point ), glaring lights in the campaign, checkpoint system, pregame menu, no map selection/voting, this is the first Halo where I have had issues with the servers ( lag/connection ), the ranking system, limited menu tools/layout, controller layout ( lacks the ability to assign buttons wherever you like ), etc… I could go on and on but you get the points. I am officially done with Halo and any future Halo games or anything by 343. I have been a loyal fan since Halo 1 but this -Yoink- is the nail in the coffin. Even COD is better than this dumpster fire.
