When you join a match in progress, sometimes you don’t get req energy until you actually level up.
Example: joined round 3 on Darkstar. Had “lv 4 reqs”, but no energy, and it wouldn’t regenerate. I couldn’t level up because there wasn’t much I could do against a mantis with just a BR. Team was already in trouble because people had quit the match.
