Is it just me who think 343 must do something with them?
I just did four games (all of them on the same -Yoinking!- map by the way), and every time, when my teammates and I were fighting like warriors to defend our bases, get the Spire and a minimum of map control, the enemy just KS the legendary bosses and took the win. Am I the only one who thinks is ridiculous? We can control two bases the whole game and still lose like we did nothing. We can shoot at the Warden with two tanks and a wraith and still being KS by a sniper. Is the outcome of the game only based on this? A single sniper shot? What the hell is this?
I can’t find a single piece of fun in this crappy game mode any more. I guess I’ll just wait the moment you’ll realise we’re all waiting for you to release some -Yoinking!- social playlists.
Be the guy who gets the last shot in and you won’t complain anymore.
You can’t just camp bases and expect to win in Warzone. You need to complete ALL of the given objectives to be successful, which includes killing bosses.
As far as “Kill Steals”, they don’t exist. Sitting in front of a boss and spamming it with power weapons and vehicles is just a dumb as sitting on your two bases all game expecting to get the win. You need to take out the other team AND the boss, in that order.
It’s a game of strategy, you basically need to divide your team into groups in order to be efficient and successful. Granted, this usually isn’t possible because people never talk in H5, but you can still do your part and hopefully your team will follow suit

Git gud.
No, not really. I’ve also noticed this issue and I’m not sure why 343 hasn’t really done anything about it. I mean, surely this issue came up at least once in the many internal playtests they held for Warzone pre-launch right? Right???

What an advice! I never thought about it, really… You do realize we’re 24 shooting at the same object simultaneously right?

Considering the size of the maps, you can be anywhere and still have a clean & safe shot on the legendary boss. I’m not talking about spamming power weapons, I’m talking about rewarding good players for their efforts, and not giving the win randomly to not as good players.

When has Halo not had kill stealing? The only reason you’re complaining now is because you perceive that there’s more at stake. This is a learning process. The first thing you’ve learned is that holding two bases the entire game is a waste of resources. The second thing you should have learned is that AI is the much higher value target by design: the game’s creators don’t want you camping a base, they want you mixing it up on the battle field. What you’re disappointed by here is not that somebody can steal the kill - it’s that in a game with 23 other players your own individual contribution matters less than it ever has. Boss battles are a perfect illustration of this. This doesn’t mean that warzone is bad, it just means that it isn’t for egos, superstars, or showboaters. You want to make a splash? Go play Breakout.
It gets frustrating. On the other side of the argument I’ve had success a couple of times stealing boss kills with an smg. Hide and wait until boss health is really low, then pour smg rounds into it. Odds you get last shot are good with an smg, you’re putting a lot of rounds in. A SAW would be good also. I know it stinks but honestly I’ve also sat and dumped round after round of a power weapon into a boss and had it stolen while reloading or ran out of ammo. Timing your shots in relation to the boss’s health has unfortunately became a strategy.
Baron 'Saroam, Captain Wamik and Captain Hestero are the worst. There is absolutely no way to prevent kill stealing since you can literally cross-map it from anywhere. You shouldn’t be forced to use a power weapon to ensure that your team gets the credit, and I hate those who hides in a bush until your team gets a boss low and then come out with a Railgun or Laser to finish him off.
There should be a 60 point boost to the team with the last shot, but also 90 points that rewards both teams based on damage dealt (Say Blue Team dealt 75% of the damage, Red team deals 25% and gets the kill, Blue team would get 69 points and Red team would get 23 points for damage, plus 60 points for 84 points) That way, if someone steals the kill from far off, you would still be in the game and not 150-200 points behind.

Can you even read? Where did I mention that I want to make a splash? “Do something about bosses” doesn’t mean to remove them completely, Lord Doodoo & XenonYoshi just brought great alternatives as you can see.
Here, I’m not talking just for myself, but for the whole team. We could be the best team in terms of skills and fire power, and still lose. I was just thinking about a way to make the game more rewarding for the players who truly deserve it.
I don’t want to bring up your stats, but please don’t try to teach me how to play.
Make the bosses worth a less absurd amount of points. Say…100 for the final boss and all other legendaries 75. Then add more PvE enemies in general around the map.

It is pretty clear that I’m not playing Warzone anymore… Sorry you couldn’t understand that, and in case you didn’t know, forums are partly made to discuss the game’s issues, so I don’t see what’s wrong in whining here.
I am already a very happy person, but thanks, I’ll consider your advice. Try to make a useful post next time.
If there is one thing I can say with certainty, just one thing. It’s this:
After playing 4 days worth of warzone cumulatively (I.E. A CRAPTON of warzone): there is one glaring issue with the bosses:
And his name is Commander Lochagos.
Having a 150VP boss spawn in the beginning of the match is complete nonsense, it leads to lopsided games 85% of the matches I’ve seen on Stormbreak. Seeing that discrepancy in the score that early in the match is extremely demoralizing the team that doesn’t kill him and leads to at least 1, 2 or even 3 people just insta-leaving the game when he gets taken out by the enemy team. It sucks because I actually like this map the best, it just needs serious work to bring it in line with the other warzone maps, with a very easy change:
Replace Commander Lochagos with either two 25 VP Knight Bannermans or Two 25VP Hunters like Raid on Apex 7 in the back of the fortress instead. Then have commander Lochagos spawn in the back route area where the Elite Captain usually spawns after about 4-5 minutes into the game. Can either have the elite spawn at the same time he usually does in the beginning 2 minutes or move his spawn sometime after lochagos. The rest of the AI boss spawns are fine from that point and don’t need to be changed.
