Warzone boss stealing & max req speed fustrations

This is driving me made. no one likes people who steal kills and yet that is how you win in warzone. Its not fun its boring when you do it and frustrating when its done to you. 343i i know you dont look at these forums because they are toxic but i hope you change this to whoever does the most damage or something alike. Also the max req energy level bar thing should increase at the same speed for everyone, it would just make the game more fun and balanced.

Which ever team deals the most damage should get the points, agreed, and yes its extremely hard to break a spawn trap when your team doesn’t have access to there req cards …not sure how to fix those issues though.

  1. points are awarded evenly based on amount of damage done.

  2. to kill the boss you have to do something very dangerous such as bring it to their knees and melee with risk of retaliation

  3. when boss dies a large capture zone appears around the boss that require one team to stand in uncontested for around 30 seconds.

I actually kind of like the way the boss kills go to whoever gets the last shot in (now, I wish they would find a way to give everyone involved on the team points for the kill). It makes you play it strategically, can’t just rush bosses and unload at them. You need to save your ammo and keep yourself in a relatively safe spot, and try to time that last shot / melee perfectly. I personally think it’s way more fun. When someone steals my kill I’m mad for like 5 seconds and then realize I should’ve just been smarter about my strategy.

REQ system to me seems pretty good so far, although I do wish there was a fair way to keep it balanced whilst still rewarding teams for being effective.

I’m not too sure about the boss stealing, maybe on the big ones worth 150 points do the most damage dealt but leave it as it is with the smaller score ones.

With regards the req speed maybe have it as it is, But make the bar go up at a constant speed over time. I get what you mean about it being frustrating when being stuck in one spot but when that dosent occur I think the current system works well.

This could play a part with boss stealing but what riles me is when someone on your team takes the kill when you are performing an assassination

100% agree. I am against the final shot taking the kill. I have done it, and I know many others out there have as well. But when you use two power weapons, unload all of your ammo, and your team is destroying-Warden Eternal, Captain Hestro, etc.- One enemy pops out with one BR burst and gets the final hit in. It wouldn’t be hard for 343 to implement some algorithm that counts damage. I don’t care too much about getting more points on a personal level, but the team that does the most damage should always get the points.

I am, however, in favor of the current req level increase. It is the determining factor on how many req points you get ( along with kills and whatnot) If someone camps the whole game, and goes 3k/0d, they don’t deserve to have the same amount of req points as the body slayer that kills the entire enemy team.

for 150pt bosses, its split to 100 and 50. the 100 is awarded to both teams as a percent. and the 50 is the kill bonus for the last shot.
this means you need to be doing the damage as well as netting the kill, but should it be stolen from one team who did 99% dmg, they end up scoring more than the stealer. plus 50pts doesn’t take long to rack up.

could be done the same for 25pt bosses too. with 20 and 5 split.

This right here is the perfect solution.

This still makes no sense. Why does it matter if you did a bunch of damage if you didn’t finish the job? Literally every other objective in the game requires you to FINISH to get the credit. Why is it that so many people want to get most of the points for trying? It’s stupid.

Yes! We don’t even know EXACTLY what increases tea energy and how much!!!

Yes its completly stupid! Its spray and pray to get the points. Just pure luck when the two teams fights the same boss. It really need a fix.

I do think everyone should be at the same REQ speed instead of one team having a level or two advantage over the other. They can bust out Scorpions or Wraiths and I can’t even field a Hydra or Rocket Launcher to counter.
