Warzone Boss Scoring

You may know that the way the boss scoring system works currently is rather controversial. This is mostly because whoever fires the final shot on the boss, his/her team gets the points. Some people favor this system, as it allows a team to strategically rush in and take the steal, and also because it forces the other team to defend the boss from the rush. To satisfy both sides, I propose a new system.

Basically, a boss’s first 80% HP and last 20% HP are split up. A team’s damage on a boss is:
{Percent damage done to first 80% HP} + {Percent damage done to last 20% HP}. In other words, the first 80% has the same weight as the last 20%.
For example: doing the first 40% damage to a boss is the equivalent of doing the last 10% damage to the boss.

This would mean a team could still rush in and take the steal, and the other team would have to defend the boss from the rush, but firing the last shot with a sniper won’t do much.

So what’dya think?

It’s kinda bogus, I remember playing WZ and having the enemy take our boss kill by putting like 3 BR shots and winning. Like, wut
